Finally catching up on the lodges! Can't wait to read about your upcoming birthing time! Sounds like you have gotten a lot of nesting done!!! I have a boston terrier too! She has really done well with the baby. She is very maternal in that she watches over him and lets me know when he is waking up or making noise. Hope you are feeling good today!

This morning I went and got a holistic health check. It's where they muscle test certain points on your body and let you know what you are lacking in certain nutrients. So I am deficient in: Sodium, Vitamin E & D, and Fatty Acids. I was very surprised about being deficient in Sodium since I've been eating so bad these past couple months. Mostly packaged foods and take-out. Plus I've been swollen in my feet and hands. But she said lack of sodium could also cause swelling. Everything else was healthy!

She also read my face and told me I'm Water. So, I guess that means I'm quiet and reflective.

Oh, and something interesting. After she tested and noticed my sodium problem, she looked at my mouth and said that the left corner of my mouth was lower, which is a sign of lack of sodium. Weird, huh? So everyone, go check your mouth in the mirror!!

Don't worry about labor, you will do just fine. I had a 2nd degree tear and it wasn't that bad. I think I could feel it tear just cause it started burning more but I was so focused on getting her head out and once I saw it all was forgotten.

I texted you today to see how you were doing. Hopefully you got it. I'm going to be mad if our texting isn't working again.

Sounds like you are nesting! I hope it is soon for you!

I really like the aplix (velcro) that celtic cloths sells:

She sells it by the inch and it holds really well through lots of washings and wear and tear. The 1.5" is a little big for newborn dipes, but I made it work. She also sells PUL and I try to buy the PUL that is in diaper cuts, so I can get a small amt. to see if I like the color. Her shipping prices are not bad either. I also like her elastic. You'll have to show off your dipe pics!

Stefanie - I texted you right back yesterday!! Just got through resending it to see if you'll receive it now. Maybe I just respond too fast. Next time I'll wait a few minutes. If you keep not getting them, I'll just have to call you when labor sets in just to be safe. LMK whether you get the message or not!!

And Holly, thanks for the aplix link. I'll have to give that kind a try. Is there actually a difference in aplix and elastic? I'm still kinda clueless on certain things with cloth diapering.

This morning I feel pretty tired. Me and DH stayed up kinda late last night practicing different pushing positions from our Bradley book and doing our relaxation exercises. We bought tennis balls so he was practicing massaging me with those. He's getting so good at this stuff. Then this morning I did a little cleaning around the gym and wore myself out!

I'm going to have to call my phone company! Who do you go through? We have sprint and if I'm not getting texts they are so going to hear from me! I'll text you again tonight once I get these crazy kids to sleep.

Yay! for a good practice session! I love it that my DH is learning massage techniques because of labor...he needs all the help he can get in that arena.
