I didn't even know they had a birth place in yoder! I wish I had known that, would have been way better then hutch hospital. If we have another I am so going there! If you need/want a birth buddy I would be glad to be it since we live so close. I was actually in Mac today looking at wedding dresses for my sister. How old is your DH, did he go to hutch high?

Well, I'm 26 and have lived in McP since I was in kindergarten, DH is 31 and lived in Hutch up until he was 11. But he still considers himself from Hutch. Probably because he moved around a lot as a kid and Hutch was the place he lived the longest.

That would be great to have a birth buddy! I have an awesome August '07 birth buddy from around DC but missed out on our local birth board buddies . So that would be great!!

So, I had to work on Saturday at the ol' gym. Usually I get Saturdays off and DH runs the place but this weekend he took my dads truck to the Chrysler dealership he used to work at as a mechanic to get a dent repaired that was my doing . He also checked out his radio because it is possessed. You turn the volume up on the radio and it slowly creeps down until it mutes. Never stays up.

My mom came over when I got back into town on Saturday (our gym is in Salina, 30 miles away) and we did some major cleaning in my Kitchen. Not as much as we planned because I wear out too easy. We removed everything from all the cabinets and drawers. Wiped them all out, relined them, and organized everything. My mom did most the work but I was exhausted!! Everything looks so great. Now I just need to clean out my oven and scrub the floors really good and the kitchen will be complete! Then the next day I did the laundry, organized my linen closet and rewashed all my sheets and blankets and baby dipes.

Hopefully I'm not nesting because isn't that a sign of labor coming soon? I'd actually rather go a little overdue than go early. I feel like there is still so much to do before this LO arrives. DH and I planned on cleaning and reorganising the entire house plus get DSD's room ready before his arrival and of course we are procrastinators so 3 weeks before my due date we are scrambling to get everything done.

sounds like nesting to me, but you can nest a few weeks before the big day. I've been nesting for almost 2 weeks and no baby here!

I've finally caught up on your lodge! I loved reading your intro and I'm so glad you found the midwives - sounds perfect. I'm a little jealous to be honest No birth centers where I'm from.

I'm looking forward to your birth story!

I think I'm slowly creeping into the "uncomfortable" stage of the end of pregnancy. It's getting harder for me to get around and sleep. Last night me and DH went on a walk and I did really good but my feet started to hurt. I woke up this morning and my muscles hurt along my sides. Plus I'm super tired right now.

I think this baby is going through a growth spurt because this week it looks like I've gained about 3-5 lbs. My MWs should be happy since I didn't gain anything in the past 3 weeks. Hopefully it's all baby and not me. I do feel really swollen still. Couldn't get my rings on this morning and my shoes feel tight. Maybe it wasn't all from the pizza this weekend like I hoped....
