I tried so hard to keep this little bean, but it just wasn't meant to be... Always wanted, always loved, always missed...
4/29 - B(faint)P
4/30 - BFP
5/2 - Started pink spotting (thought it was implantation)
5/4 - Bright red bleeding, told nurse I think m/c. Bleeding stopped, never needed more than panty liner
5/5 - Ultrasound shows no sac (too early) but thick lining. First beta drawn - 81
5/7 - 2nd beta - 127 (57% increase) and more bright red blood. Doctor suspects ectopic, but maybe still normal.
5/11 - 3rd beta - 649. More than doubling every 48 hours. Praying for a healthy bean (IN my uterus!!)
5/13 - U/S shows a gestational sac with yolk sac forming IN MY UTERUS!! 4th beta drawn
5/14 - The doctor himself called and said the most beautiful words I've ever heard... "There is nothing to show that this is anything other than a very early, normal, intrauterine pregnancy." He didn't give me the exact number of my 4th beta, but said the numbers were MORE than doubling. Please let this bean stick!
5/26 - I lost the bean. I wanted this little one so badly, but part of me knew in my heart from the beginning that it just was not meant to be. I hoped and prayed and tried everything in my power to make the bean stick, but in the end he or she was meant to be my angel. Lost at 7 weeks 1 day, never forgotten...
July 2, 2010 - BFP! DH and I decided to TTC again before I ever got my AF after the m/c. Believe it or not, we caught the egg!! Hoping and praying for a sticky bean this time around.
EDD: March 15, 2011
Baby boy Calvin Michael was born on February 28, 2011 at 7:39pm. He weighed 6lb 8oz and was 18 inches long. He is just perfect. I'll never understand the reasons for the loss of my January bean, but it was all part off the journey to meeting this beautiful little boy, and has given me a brand new appreciation for both of my healthy babies.

Hello! I’m Laura, married to Steven since May 27, 2006. I’m a kindergarten teacher and DH is an IT nerd. We have been TTC for 14 months. This baby is an unexpected answered prayer! We had a RE appointment in June, but God had other plans! And we're so grateful He did!
Well we told my parents Friday night. I got my new camera on Thursday night, so I took lots of pictures of my cats. (I had nothing else to take pictures of!) And 1 or 2 of my positive pregnancy test! So I showed my parents all the cool pictures I've taken with my brand new camera, and then my popped up! My Mom burst out crying. and my Dad was confused why I took a picture of a test... then he FINALLY got it! (Come to find out, back in their day they didn't have HPTs, they had to go to the doctor for blood work!) It was amazing!
I told my Mamaw Friday night too. I asked her if she wanted to go out to eat with us to celebrate. And she wanted to know what we were celebrating! And I said, "Our baby!" She cried then said, "God just wanted you to have a Texas baby!" Hilarious!
Saturday I went to out to eat with Mamaw, my Mom, my sister, my great aunt and my cousin. I told my cousin and great aunt that Steven got me my camera for MOTHER'S DAY! They were confused... and I just grinned. And then they cried.
Steven's family found out on Saturday night... well technically it was Sunday morning, cause his Mom didn't get off of work until 11pm, so we didn't talk with them until MIDNIGHT. (It was hard staying up that late!) At first Steven's mom was the only one in the room, so Steven told her to go get his Dad outta bed. So she did. (He came in with his tighty whities on. ) When they were both there Steven said, "Hey, you see this nice camera I got Laura for Mother's Day?"... that's all it took. His Mom had tears streaming down her face and his Dad said, "Well, that's awesome news!" and kept grinning a goofy smile. It was PRICELESS!
5/05: Blood work - HCG: 1,457.1 ; Progesterone: 14.4
6/03: First ultrasound and OB appointment! Met our doctor for the first time & we love her!
6/16: Checked heart rate with the doppler. 168bpm. My blood pressure was a bit high at first, but my doctor checked it again after we heard the heartbeat and it had gone down a bit.
06/30: NT Scan: Blood pressure was good! Whew! Our baby was very active and seeing her again was wonderful!
07/07: OB Appointment: My blood pressure was normal! Whew! Got my H1N1 flu shot & had my yearly exam done.
08/09: Big U/S and OB Appointment: It's a girl! Baby was measuring 18w, 6d and I'm 18w, 2d. So she's growing strong!
09/08: OB Appointment: BP was good! I'm 22w, 4d and my fundal height was 26! If I'm still measuring ahead next appointment, I'll get an ultrasound!
10/07: OB Appointment & Glucose Test: Measuring 27 weeks. Passed my GD test!
10/19: OB Appointment: Boring appointment! Everything is going well! BP is still good!
11/1: OB Appointment: Regular boring appointment. Measured 32.5 cm in my fundal height, but Dr. P isn't changing my due date!
11/18: OB Appointment: BP was good! Weight gain was minimal! Claire is head down! I measured right on track with my due date!
11/29: U/S and OB Appointment: Baby Claire is 5lbs and is growing healthy and strong! My BP and weight were normal and I was able to talk to Dr. P about quite a bit. She noted my anxiety about day care after my maternity leave ends.
12/14: OB Appointment: Baby Claire is head down and I'm 50% effaced! She's at -3 station and is engaged in my pelvis! I gained 6lbs since my last appointment, but Dr. P isn't concerned seeing as I've been swelling. She thinks it's quite a bit of water weight.
12/21: OB Appointment: I'm 80% effaced and a fingertip dilated. She's at -3 or -2 station. I've been contracting quite a bit. If I'm dilated more next appointment we'll discuss induction.
12/29: OB Appointment: I'm 1cm dilated and 80% effaced! Scheduled induction for 1-1-11!
4 weeks: Started waking up in the night to use the bathroom. Also started getting VERY hungry!
5 weeks: I am bloated thanks to my progesterone supplements. My "ladies" are super sore too! Nausea is not cool.
6 weeks: I am exhausted, but when to get up to use the bathroom, I have a hard time falling back asleep! I received IV fluids this week due to dehydration. I've been miserable. People at work are commenting how I look like I don't feel good.
7 weeks: I am starting to get my appetite back. Taco Bell was my first pregnancy craving!
8 weeks: Nausea seems to be getting better! We moved to Texas!
9 weeks: Bought a Belly Band! First ultrasound at 8w 4d; heart rate @ 172bpm.
10 weeks: Bought some maternity clothes from Target!
11 weeks: Had two dreams that this baby is a boy. And 1 dream that this baby is a girl.
12 weeks: I've been really tired this week. Maybe it's because I had to wake up early 2 days in a row. Boo!
13 weeks: NT Scan! We saw our baby for about an hour this afternoon. She was kicking away!
14 weeks: Yearly exam. Scheduled our BIG ultrasound! Hopefully she's still a girl!
15 weeks: Hello aching hips! My hips are sore!
16 weeks: I've feel more and more movement. Not obvious kicks, just feels like a fish is swimming around. DH felt her move!
17 weeks: Movement is more obvious.
18 weeks: I have over-done it trying to get my classroom ready. My hips are hurting to the point that I cry. Ouch!
19 weeks: "Grams" (my Mom) felt Claire move!
20 weeks: My first shower got scheduled for October 23rd!
21 weeks: Registered @ Babies R Us & Target! So much fun!
22 weeks: 2nd shower got scheduled for November 13th!
23 weeks: 3rd shower was scheduled for November! Received my breast pump (free from insurance) in the mail!
24 weeks: Claire has been quite active this week! I was relaxing in the tub and I could see the water moving from her strong kicks.
25 weeks: Claire has continued to be very active. We can see my belly move and shake with each kick.
26 weeks: Received the invitation to my first baby shower! So excited!
27 weeks: Started noticing some swelling in my hands.
28 weeks: Steven saw Claire moving. He described it as if an alien were going to come out.
29 weeks: I had my first baby shower! Claire is so spoiled already!
30 weeks: Claire went to her first Ranger game! It just happened to be game 4 of the World Series! I held up a sign that said "Future Ranger Fan!" and made it on the big screen!
31 weeks: We saw Claire via 3d/4d ultrasound! It was amazing to see her precious little face. Oh! And my "ladies" are working already!
32 weeks: Had my 2nd baby shower with friends in Arkansas! Claire has found my ribs. And I saw her foot poking out the side of my stomach!
33 weeks: My "ladies" are continue to prepare for Claire. DH and I had our 2nd childbirth class! We're getting so excited!
34 weeks: I'm starting to feel more pressure from Claire's head.
35 weeks: I experienced "cankles" for the first time. I was on my feet way too much on Thursday. I haven't dealt with swelling since!
36 weeks: I'm starting to feel like Claire has dropped some.
37 weeks: I've been experiencing swelling. And some contractions with pressure.
38 weeks: Contractions hurt.
39 weeks: Induced!

20 weeks 4 days
12/29/10 BPP and FINAL OB appt. 38 wks
12/30/10 C-Section at 7:45 a.m.
This has been such a long journey for us to bet pregnant. I have 2 children from my 1st marriage (12 yr old son and 9 yr old daughter). My DH and I will be married 6 years in Aug 2010 and have been TTC since the day we were married. We have had several early m/c's and they only reason the Dr's could give us was my Thyroid was very high- that has been under coltrol the last few years and we still have had a hard time TTC.
Sept 2009 we got a BFP and were feeling on top of the world! At about 9 weeks I started bleeding and had a u/s that found a Placental Hemorrhage. I was put on bed rest and told it may heal itself. Things seemed to be going ok for the next few weeks- we had a home heart monitor and his rate was always in the 150-160's. 3 days after christmas I took the HB in the a.m. and it was normal and took it again in the afternoon and could not find it, I tried for a few hours and nothing. We went to the hospital and the u/s showed no movement of the baby, he had passed! Since he was so developed (I was 15 1/2 weeks) they could not do a D &C had to get out in labor and deliver him- once he was delivered the cord was around his little body several times- he had a cord accident. It was the hardest day of my life! I miss him SO much!
Praying this WILL be a happy ending and this baby will be healthy, happy and in our arm Jan 2011[/COLOR]

No pics for me, as my computer doesn't play nice with the pregnancy.org site (sigh).
I'm Harper. DH and I have been together for eight years. We're from California, but living in Israel right now while DH finishes his MBA. We have a wonderful, handsome little boy named Ezra. He's my little snowpea from Jan 2009!
Just like with Ezra, I got my bfp for mother's day (although this one is a few hours early for that). Using my lmp, my due date should be somewhere in the vicinity of 1/9/11! Which puts me at five weeks preggo. This is my fourth pregnancy (m/c 2/08 and 2/10). Looks like February is NOT my month, but April IS!
HH9M to everyone!
7/15--first ultrasound. Everything looks good!
10/22--doppler a few days ago, hb sounded great! Baby is moving well too. I'm actually carrying this one lower than Ezra, which I didn't think was physically possible , which causes me some discomfort when the LO kicks/hits in the downward direction. I felt hiccups this evening just above my pubic bone!

Hello my name is Laurie and I have been married 10yrs. I have 2 DD, 7 and 2 yrs. This is #3, unexpected, but welcomed. We wanted to wait a while longer, but God had bigger plans.
I am excited to find others in the same condition Right now, very ill and tired.
Due Jan. 10, 2011
First US June 1, 2010
Hubby and I have a 7 yr old and 2.5 yr old and this would be our 3rd baby together. I also have a 17 yr old and 15 yr old from my 1st marriage. I am 40 and hubby will be 38 in Aug. Our EDD is 1/8/2011.
My name is Nicole and I've been married to Mark since September 1, 2007. We met in 2005 at a poker tournament and been together ever since! I'm in a PhD program and currently working on my dissertation. We've been trying to figure out the best time to have a baby and came to the conclusion that it was the perfect time to "sneak" one in. I went off the pill in February and got BFPs on 5/1 and 5/2.
5/3: Saw my regular doctor and got confirmation
5/28: First OB appointment. We even got to see a heartbeat (140ish)! Here is the u/s from the appointment!
6/25: 2nd OB appointment. It went fabulous! We got to hear the heartbeat (150)!
7/23: 3rd OB appointment. It went well! I only gained a pound (2 pounds overall) and we got to hear the heartbeat. It was strong at 140!
8/6: Perinatal Assessment (2D, 3D, and 4D U/S!). The doctor said everything looked fantastic. Of course the little one is stubborn already--we had to wait a long time before the baby would turn over so the doctor could examine the heart. It was really amazing to see the baby on screen! We also found out the gender--we're so excited. It's a girl! Here are some pics:
Basic face profile:
At the end of the appoint, the doctor laughed, and brought up the screen again to tell us that everything definitely is okay as she was giving us the thumb's up!
15 Weeks, 4 Days
This is our first pregnancy and we're so excited, but nervous, too. There is a ton of info out there! We told my parents and sister on Mother's Day, DH's family in early June, and our closer friends the second week of June. Everyone is so excited! It's been a long time since we've had a baby on my side of the family!
Estimated Due Date: 1/8/2011 (doc pushed it ahead to 1/10/11)
