Hi everyone! My name is Jaimee and I'm a 1st grade teacher and my boyfriend of four years (Danny) is an electrician. This is our first baby and while totally unexpected and unplanned - we are both very excited!

We are both avid athletes and outdoors lovers.

Our Story

I met my husband through mutual friends. At the time I was in a long term relationship with someone he went to highschool with but we became instant friends. When My relationship with that other person began falling apart after three years David was there for me. It didn't take long for us to realize that we were supposed to be more than just friends.

Six months later, while I was on a trip in Panama he bought my engagement ring. After a trip to cancun at ten months we came back and he proposed to me in a romantic, quiet evening at home. While I was away he had driven to visit my dad and asked his permission and spoke with my step-dad while they were out on a run and also asked his permission. The most incredible thing about the proposal was that he had kept a small journal since he purchased my ring... he read the journal to me and I cried through the entire thing.

We were married almost two years later to the day on August 22, 2009. Our ceremony was at the Winspear Centre for music (the beautiful symphony hall in our city) and our reception was at a downtown hotel. It was perfect.

We left a week later for our two month honeymoon to Australia. We spent our first week in a flat in downtown Sydney where we went to shows at the opera house and dinners on the water. Our second week was at Triathlon World Championships on the Gold Coast (David was competing for team Canada). And the rest of the time was spent backpacking our way all the way up to Cape Tribulation and back down to Sydney.

TTC

We made the decision to start TTC at the beginning of January. David's parents are in their sixties and we knew we wanted them to be around for the important things in our children's lives. It took four and a half months and a lot of charting but we did it!

Ok, holding my space until I figure out how to upload some pictures

I'm Wendi (just turned 30 and husband is 32). Baby #2 is a surprise, but a welcomed one....I went to the dr thinking I had mono and nope, I was pregnant. But, God's timing is perfect. Our son will be 2 in September, making them 2 yrs and 3 mos apart. We are both only children, so we are happy our sweet son will have a sibling! We had been discussing having an additional child for several months, but I was afraid to commit...funny

When I was pregnant with my DS, I was so excited because we had been trying for months after a MC, but this time around I am more laid back and taking it in stride.

I work part-time, 3 days a week, and stay at home the other two. I enjoy couponing, sewing (if I ever have time), and genealogy.
