Lots of ELV! I hope you are holding your LO soon (or already). It definitely sounds promising!

Wow, Leigh, it sounds like things may be kicking into high gear! I'm sorry that you had a scare, but from what everyone says it seems like a pretty normal step in the whole process.

Hope things keep moving along today!

Leigh, those signs definitely sound promising. I hope you're in full blown labor by now... or possibly even holding your new bundle! Update us when you can!!

LOL! I wish I was holding my bundle or even in full blown labor, but I'm not ... but I do think I'm in early labor still. It's 10:30 am, and I've been having regular pressure waves and cramps since last night. I've been up since 4am, doing some spinningbabies techniques trying to get baby anterior, which is why I think things are being held up. This child just WILL NOT turn anterior. Darn it. But anyway, I do feel like things are happening, and since it's been going on so long, and I've taken two showers since it started, done lots of walking and cleaning, I think this really is the beginning. Let's hope and pray it won't be too much longer! I'll definately keep you all posted!

Did you get your DH to try that belly sling maneuver? I'd probably give that a try. Also, you might want to try sleeping on your other side. I discovered that late in my pregnancy, Tiven tended during the day to have her back toward whichever side I'd slept on. Just one of those random thoughts that might help...

Thank you so much everyone for the ELV's! Right now I'll just settle for Active Labor Vibes though! LOL!

Going on 24 hours of consistent crampiness/pressure waves... and still, no progress that I know of, no active labor. I am so tired! Why won't these pressure waves progress and strengthen?!? What am I doing wrong? I am having active periods and resting periods... when I'm active, I mean I am walking, chasing after Alessandra, going about my day, etc... and when I'm resting I'm napping. Should I be doing something differently? I feel so lost. I've been sitting on my birth ball, rocking on it, swaying side to side ... I've even done a few jumping jacks (lol ) with hopes that it will help strengthen this waves. But so far no. I haven't tried the rebozo yet because DH has been immersed in a garage project and when he's not buried in that, he's watching Alessandra so I can rest. I think the rebozo is the only thing I haven't tried today ... so I'm going to go grab him and try it now. Any other suggestions?? Or is this another (really freaking long) false labor?!
