what a good intro sunds like a scary beginning but I'm glad things were pretty uneventful.

So this morning I woke up feeling like my hips and pelvis had been run over by a truck. Ouch. I feel all creaky and old. I've been having sciatic nerve pain on my right side for weeks, but this is rotten.
Okay. That's it for complaints. I'm really trying to keep them to a minimum since we tried so hard to get pregnant and complaining pregnant women used to really bother me.
So, on a positive note, the aches hopefully mean that LO is making plenty of room in there to ease her decent and it will make for less aches during labor (I hope).
After being worried for awhile about pre-term labor, I'm so happy to officially be full term!
I went for a prenatal massage today. My employer gave me a gift card to an Aveda spa...it was so nice. Unfortunately, they didn't have the table with a hole cut out for my belly, but it was still wonderful. My back still hurts, but at least for 50 minutes, it didn't.
DH and I are having date night tonight since we probably won't be having too many of those soon. I'm looking forward to not cooking and going to a movie...it's been ages since we've seen a movie.
Dinner and a movie- eh? Oh, I so miss the Drafthouse! Is that where you are going by chance? I have dreams about going back- LOL!
Bah. We went to dinner, but I am too sore to sit in a movie chair for two hours. We're going to go to a movie tomorrow instead.
I love the Drafthouse! We weren't going to go there though...there's a big, new theatre close to our house, so we get lazy and go there.
Sorry about the movie, but hey, it is like getting two dates for the price of one!
I am pretty sure we conceived after playing literally playing hooky (I was teaching school and left during my last period plan) last May and going to Jeff Ward at the Drafthouse. (TMI!) DD went home with a friend and I was pregnant 2 weeks later. . . Oh, the Drafthouse is a wonderful place!
Yeah, we did not live particularly close either, but we drove to the Village location a few times a year just for the experience of it all!
For those of you not familiar, the Alamo Drafthouse is an awesome movie theater crossed with a full service restaurant and bar (hence the Drafthouse). They show current movies as well as special engagement events - like singalongs and quotealongs. They used to have a comedy trio that performed live comedy to bad movies called Mr. Sinus Theatre (a play on the old Mystery Science Theater 3000). Super fun evening. So many memories.
