So weird that it's so common...the little things nobody warns you about! I've had twinges there today but nothing so dramatic or painful as last night. Yet. I definitely think it's due to baby pressing on something odd, though, since I feel that area at the same time I feel her rustling around way down low. It almost feels like I can feel her moving in my leg, but of course that's impossible.

    Ouch! That sounds rough!

That's great that you've got everything set and packed and ready to go!

I have that groin pain almost in my inner thighs when lying down like when I'm sleeping. If I wake up to go to the bathroom it's very difficult to get back up. Ouch! I'm sorry you have it. Congrats on having virtually everything ready! WTG That gives you some peace of mind.

Yay for getting everything ready! Sorry about the groin pain. That sounds miserable.

For the back pain, you could try putting a tennis ball under where it hurts and laying on your back with it under you. Also, try putting the ball on the opposite side of the pain for a little while. Sometimes releasing the muscles on the other side will help with the problem. Good luck.

Ooh, that's a good suggestion, thank you! I think we still have a couple that haven't been given to the dogs yet.

Had a super productive day at work and got everything off my to-do-before-maternity-leave list! It feels freaking AWESOME. Maybe the sense of relief and readiness will give baby some ideas over the weekend...

Feeling kind of nauseous and headachy. I think I'll go try that tennis ball thing. Have a fairly relaxing weekend ahead with not many plans, woo! I think I'll get in some pool time.

Single digits until my due date! Really in the home stretch now, I guess...had a very uncomfortable and crampy night. Nothing timeable, more like one long low contraction all night. Fine with me as long as it's doing something in there.

I'm installing the car seat today (got it all threaded, now just waiting for DH to come home with the car). And definitely going to the pool after lunch--today's high is 104.

104!!!! Holy crap that's hot. I don't think it's even gotten to 60 here today.
