I would love to see pictures of your wraps!
Yeah, having only one to worry about makes a big difference in what is practical!
Here's the mei tai I made for myself (will fit better without the belly!)
Mei tai I made for DH (using one of his old t-shirts as the pocket--yes that's a lucha libre wrestler )
The decorative detail I put on the front of the Moby I made for myself:

Thank you! I have thought about it, actually--once I figured out what I was doing, it was actually super easy. But then I look at how many shops are selling mei tais on Etsy and it's kind of discouraging...maybe if I found a good outlet to sell them HERE, though.
Those are awesome! I want flowers like that on my cream color Moby!

Love your Mei Tei's & the appliqué's you added to your moby - so nice! My husband and I wear our littles (and no so littles) more than we use the stroller - it's really convenient & takes up less room in the car Some of my favorite newborn past times is to read while nursing or holding a new squishy sleepy baby. I'm glad the chrio is helping - I don't know what I'd do without mine, especially while pregnant!
I LOVE your carriers! The moby is so pretty! I really like baby wearing. We do have a bucket car seat (here you have to have the baby in one to leave the hospital - weird) but I almost never took it out of the car with Audrey. I found wearing her so easier and she liked it better. I have a ridiculous number of carriers now. I can't wait to try them all out with Gus
I think I will really like babywearing...of course I like what I have heard about the benefits, but really strollers and bucket seats just seem so unwieldy; I love the idea of hands-free carrying, especially while she's small. We shall see how it goes!
That's so weird that your hospital makes you have a bucket specifically, Shannon. Our convertible is rated down to five pounds and I think the lowest setting on the harness is something like six inches so I can't imagine it will be a problem!
So DH and his SD moved all of our furniture from the living room and bedroom into the dining room/halls last night (we just left the bed for this morning) and I went home for an early lunch to meet the carpet cleaners. Carpets are now cleaner than they've ever been, woo! (I would rather rip them out, but we don't have the time or money to deal with that project right now!) Anyway, this means tonight we'll be setting up the crib and putting everything back together in ready-for-baby mode, so...another MAJOR check mark off the to do list. It's exciting
Definitely been having a ton more BH and pressure low in the front. Baby seemed to be in a weird position yesterday (transverse looking down, maybe? Sitting up in bed, I could feel her "breathing" really strongly right above my belly button), but in the middle of the night she had a major shifting/rolling session and now seems to be in her customary location, which I *think* is head down facing my left side. MW will tell me tomorrow--I'm awful at this. I know that she was crazy active yesterday and is MUCH more mellow today, although...hey there, little kicker! I think she knows when I'm talking about her
Oh, and here go the hiccups.
The Mai Tei is my favorite carrier. Those carriers are wonderful. I would let you sell them in my shop .
