Welcome to your lodge Lea! It's so exciting to see all the August mamas on here now!

What an incredible journey this baby has already brought into your life! Thanks for sharing your intro. Hope the BP cooperates and you are able to enjoy the last couple of weeks of having Tegan all to yourself.

Today was my first outpatients appointment at the maternity wing because I refused to stay in the hospital any longer. On Thursday night last week when I was admitted I was given a high dosage of Labetalol to lower my BP. Well it worked.. when I was discharged my BP was 120/70 and its now fallen to 125/60 which is very low for me. The MW said that the meds are still working, which I think is a bit extreme seeing as I was given them 4 days ago..

The baby was fine on the monitor, she had the hiccups and kept moving around so I had to be on the monitor for ages. They took bloods (I hate that ) and the results came back showing I have elevated white blood cells and low red blood cells. They've sent a sample of my urine off to be tested for a UTI (even thought I only had the every same test on friday) and given me an iron supplement. All in all it was a good appointment for me because I didn't get admitted

In two days time I'll find out the date for my induction. I'm going to try my best to go as natural as I can during the induction, and as much as I hate to say this I am looking forward to the end of being pregnant, because I feel pretty crap.

I hope everyone is doing well!

I'm glad you got to come home from your appointment and the BP is staying down. I hope you can get some rest before the big day and feel up to taking on labor and delivery.
