I am nervous, excited, scared.. every emotion known to man I can't wait to do this, and at the same time I'm not ready. I think my body is ready. I was up most of the night with what I thought was trapped wind (stomach pains coming and going) and have woken up this morning with a sore/achy 'downstairs' and generally just feeling weird.

Yay! It does sound like things are gearing up, Lea. Here's to hoping you get some good labor action today or that your body only needs a slight nudge to get things going. So excited for you to finally meet that beautiful girl of yours!

According to my Mum, anytime one of my female relatives have been given a date for induction they gave gone into labour by themselves (even if its just the start - it seems their bodies handle the induction well) the day before/hours before the induction. With my little sister my mum was induced at 35 weeks due to pre-e, and it only took one dose of cervadil to start her off. My aunt was meant to be induced with all four of hers (due to being overdue with the first three and pre-e with the fourth) and had all of her first three just hours before her induction appointments

I've had backache all day. And my downstairs still feels achy. I'm not counting my chickens, but I just hope my body reacts to induction the same way as my Mum and Aunt's did. They were both natural birthers too.
