Wow that is amazing. And 11lbs is big, but it sounds like you did great anyway. OK so I am confused. Who delivered the baby. LOL I am so glad this worked out for you.

thanks ladies.. we're doing good.. Still sore trying to find foods that are appealing right now but not having much luck. He's nursing very well. No latch problems like dd had thank god! eats good and doesn't need to suck constantly like dd. yay.. we'll see how he does tonight. My dad picked aria up after lunch and played with her for the afternoon so i could get some sleep. So i'm getting some but probably not enough. his legs are pretty swollen and still a bit purple but its mostly just from his foot getting stuck and not wanting to come out right away. DF caught the baby once he was mostly out. He did great.
I found a website about the birth cert. requirements for the state. I'll call tomorrow to find out if there's anything else beyond this.
* The birth must be registered within fifteen days in the parish where the baby was born. (RS 40:44)
o There is a local registrar in each parish, in the office of public health; in Orleans Parish, you should register directly with the state registrar (504-219-4500). (RS 40:37)
* Out-of-hospital births may be registered by a physician, midwife, birth attendant, or parent. (RS 40:45)
* Proof of Pregnancy: a statement from a Louisiana licensed midwife or physician stating:
o The date the mother was first seen by the doctor or midwife (this date
may be after the date of birth).
o The results of the mother’s prenatal or postpartum exams or pregnancy
o The date of the mother’s last menstrual period
o The date the baby was born, or was expected to be born (due date)
* Child's Information (one of the following):
o A Statement from the child’s pediatrician or Health Care Provider
o A Baptismal or Christening Record
o Child’s Immunization Record
o A Copy of the Child’s Health or life Insurance Policy
* Photo Identification of parents: either
o Louisiana Drivers license,
o Louisiana Identification card, or
* Proof of Louisiana Residency (at the time of birth): either
o Utility statement or bill, or

Amazing story! What a big boy! I'm so glad that all went well and he came into the world he wanted. Congrats and I hope get some extra rest.
