LOL yeah Taryl it's flown by for me too. Thanks for the warm welcome ladies. It's so weird to think that it's almost over. After last night though part of me is welcoming it. I think I ate too much, so all night and still a bit this morning my stomach is killing me. I try to find the humor in being this pregnant. I snore, I grunt when I move, and me changing sides at night is a HUGE ordeal what with me going to the bathroom first of course, after grunting the whole way, then walking funny because my back hurts and it feels like there's a bowling ball in my crotch, and of course I'm grunting then too.
Get back in bed, grunt, wrestle the pillows and lay back down. Then I start snoring again (according to they guy who sleeps next to me now and then)
Getting dressed is hilarious, and if it wasn't so humiliating I'd get it on video. You know how it is if you've ever been in your last trimester. Get your pants, and lean against a wall. The first leg goes in just fine (this goes for underwear too btw, it's just harder and more hilarious) but then the other leg, not so much. First you're grunting and bending over a bit to try and get your leg into that impossibly small hole, then after peeing yourself just a little, you try another tactic. One where you sort of fling both your leg and the pants toward each other and hope that they'll connect. Eventually they really do. Seriously getting dressed at this phase of pregnancy is hilarious.
So then there's trying to go pee. There are times when you have to go so bad, but it's like your bladder stops working suddenly. You sit down and are so excited for the relief, but then you can't pee. I mean, what is up with that? After a few minutes it finally comes, and I'm sure I sound like I'm doing some interesting things in the bathroom at work when that happens.
At some point I have to get over my sense of pride so I can buy some poise pads, or depends so I can stop changing my underwear 6 times a day.
The reality though, is that this is only like, not even a month out of my whole life (per kid) that I'm uncomfortable like this. The birth is only hours our of my whole life (again, per kid) that I'm in pain. It's all worth it in the end, of course. If you can find any humor whatsoever in it, I think it makes that time much easier.
Already?? Geez, Nadine. Slow down!!
(BTW, there's nothing wrong with wearing a pantiliner 24/7. I've been doing since Pregnancy #2. )
Welcome to your lodge Nadine!

Oh honey, I've been waiting for this!! I'm going to depend on you to keep the humour alive for both of us, ok?
I gotta agree with the bladder suddenly not working....except it's every time I pee. DH actually lays in bed laughing whilst I'm trying desperately to hurry my bladder up! I can pee for 5 minutes straight, I swear I'd win a peeing contest!!
And peeing yourself? I'm in complete denial it's happening.
Make sure you write here at least once a day. I'm stalking you girly!!

I hope you have an easy last few weeks and a wonderful delivery. Hopefully it all works out - if you shoot for March 1 that is my b'day.

LOL! I know what you mean about the peeing and getting dressed! I'm already experiencing those difficulties!
You're right though, it's only the last month or so.. it's tolerable, right? RIGHT?!?
