aww those pics are wonderful. You did great and I am sooo freaking happy you got your vbac. Congrats to you again.
Thanks guys.
Amber I am doing ok. We had the "night before the milk comes in" night and he was pissed off and I think I over did it getting up and down and sitting up and down and I think I pulled something in my lady area. It hurts more today than before. On the left side of my labia.
Also, is it normal for me to be achy and kind of guts pain in my tummy? I obviously expected this after my csection but? Just stuff moving back?
I am still not sleeping at all but I don't feel on the verge of a breakdown like yesterday. I couldn't even focus yesterday and its like I was out of it! I can't even explain it. I feel it creeping back up here and there and laying down with Bradley seems to help even if I don't sleep.
I always get the baby blues as my milk is coming in and for a day or two after. It seems that the hormones are worse at that point.
And it's likely that you just tugged a stitch a little bit, and sometimes as the swelling goes down, it can sting a little more anyway. In just a few days you will start to feel better down "there". They will itch and pull a little just before they dissolve, but it gets better pretty fast.
And the uncomfortable guts feeling is pretty normal for things moving back into place. Your stomach muscles are stretched to the max, so there isn't much to support things for a bit afterward. Have you thought about belly binding or wearing some high wasted support undies?
I hope today is a better day! Do you have enough support?
awww hugs! Birth is overwhelming on anyone. Do you have anyone to help you?
Congrats on a wonderful birth! It is totally normal to have a moment or two or three where you are not sure you can do it, so don't feel bad about that especially with such a quick birth!
As for pain, my pain in stitches peaked out at 5 days after birth. You may have pulled one too. I don't really remember stomach aching, but it sounds completely normal.
I really hope you are resting as much as possible!!!!!!!
The stomach aching could still be some afterpains. Those suck.
I hope you can get some sleep soon. Sleep makes everything seem better.
Your children are so beautiful! My DD came super fast like that, but didn't have the difficulties you have had. I feel so bad for you! I hope your pain gets better, it sounds terrible! I hope you get some sleep too, newborns can be really hard.
Its funny because even if I can sleep when he goes back to sleep I am ok. I am much better today sleep wise.
Pain wise.... not so much. Im going back in tomorrow. Its like my labia is ripping apart again. Owwwie.
My milk came in last night too! I have a little elevated temp again. Weird. It did that last time! I am SO super happy it came in so much faster this time. He needs to poop. He's a little jaundiced and hasn't pooped since 3 meconium poops in the first 24 hours.
