Oh I am very sorry about your mother that's horrible news. Tho I am glad the pain medication is working and giving her some energy.

Little Miss Lily will make her appearance soon enough! I hope it's quickly tho!

Today was a nutsy day. I got up this morning to find that Will had a fever of 103. I was feeling strongly driven to nest, so I was doing some cleaning around the house. The water line to the washer froze, the printer broke. I was trying to help get Mom ready to go and I was having contractions.

....it felt like something out of a sitcom.

Anyway, Amanda got here to take Mom to my cousin's house and they got there safely and then Amanda got back okay. We finally got Will's fever under control by using both acetaminophen and ibuprofen. The washer line thawed and my contractions went away. I had a nice dinner with Allen and now it's time to get some rest.

I was supposed to get a birth pool from my midwife but the two women in line ahead of me are overdue and still haven't had their babies, so I started looking into other options. One of my friends has an aquadoula I can rent and the other has the ocean reef pool that I could use for free. Still trying to decide which is the better option for us.

A winter storm is coming through tonight, so hopefully Lily will stay put until the storm blows over.

Her mom is in hospital now and really not doing well. And Anne is in early (prodromal?) labour with Lily. I'm sure they could all use extra T&Ps right now.
