Well ladies – no baby yet! She’s just super comfortable in there I guess. Since learning that my BP is not an issue I have been very active and hoped that I could walk this baby out but no such luck.
Thursday we just hung out at home relaxing and cleaning then had pizza dinner with my parents.
Friday I got up at 3:30am and braved the black Friday sales until about 10am. I have never done that before and to be honest, aside from maybe one or two items, I’m not sure it was worth it. The best part was laughing with my Mom and G-ma while watching all the “crazies.” The worst part was waiting 3hrs in the cutting line at JoAnns. Fortunately we traded off standing in line and going to other stores so we go a lot accomplished.
Saturday we went to my parents as soon as the baby woke up and started prepping for our Thanksgiving dinner. We did a ton of cleaning and yard work but all it did for me was give me a back ache! It was great to finally have some Turkey though. I felt totally deprived considering I’ve had to wait an extra 2 days from everyone else to enjoy Turkey. I do have to say though that as good as the Turkey was, my favorite would have to be a toss up between the warmed brie with homemade cranberry compote or the pumpkin cheesecake. MMMM – maybe that’s what I’ll go have for breakfast. LOL!
I have an apt tomorrow so we'll see what the Dr. says but I'm sure everything's the same -- no cervical changes.Lets just hope this happens before they start pushing for induction.

Oh pumpkin cheesecake sounds delicious! I hope your appointment goes well tomorrow.
Well -- Intresting apt.
I kind of resigned myself yesterday to scheduling an induction. Not because I want it but because then it gets rid of the head games for me. So I went into this apt with a date in mind and expecting her to tell me no changes.
She had me do another NST -- Makenna was great! *Thank goodness!*
She checked my AF index, its at 12, she said as long as I don't go below 10 I'm fine. She also checked my placenta. It was showing some calcisfication spots, even I could see them on the screen, pretty intresting. She said that the spots in itself wern't a big deal they just show that I am at 40 weeks and need to deliver with in the next few weeks but we already knew that anyways so no stress.
The best part was that my cervix is soft and externally dialated to 1cm. I know for most that does not mean much but for my body thats huge! Makenna is still really high but I reminded her that my dtr Hailey was still high until late in labor so thats not unusual.
Overall everything is looking good. She said that if I was a first time mom she may be a bit more concerned but since we know my patterns (for what that can mean in labors as they are all different) and that my body is capable of delivery then she's not worried.
She scheduled me for another apt on Thursday for the same tests and then, and this was the only time she even mentioned anything about inductions, she said based on the results we may look at scheduling something for the following week.
I think I'm pretty happy with the overall apt.
Not sure if its wishfull thinking or not but I will say that my contractions are a bit different since being home, my low back feels hot and my cervix is twinging. Wonder if its the start of something or just the results of the cervical check. Hummm....well I think I'll go take a nap and see how I feel later.

For those that watch Family Guy -- I've decided to change my name to Bonnie -- Joe's wife -- the one who's perpetually pregnant in EVERY episode, never actually has the kid. Yep, that's me! Perpetually pregnant.
