Jennifer!!! Yay!! Welcome to your lodge. I loved reading your intro and Hailey's birth story. I can't wait to follow you through your journey these next few weeks.
Thanks for the warm welcome ladies!
So I mentioned in my intro how my contractions continue all night long and usually are not enough to wake me up but they do seem to seep into my subconscious and affect my dreams. Some times I have labor/delivery dreams and some times I have orgasmic dreams (yea!). Well last night was a labor/delivery dream.
In my dream I was laboring at home, posting online here, my DH came home and despite his urging to head to the hospital I wanted to wait at home a little longer. Well when we finally got in the car I was in transition and he had to keep stopping for me to puke. Yuck! Well, before we got to the hospital I was telling him I had to push, it was time. He freaked out and in his panic turned left into my Dr.’s office instead of right into the hospital entrance. I was too out of it to really notice until it was too late. We sent my DS inside real quick to get my Dr. She came out and delivered the baby in the car!Everything turned out fine except as soon as I was transferred to the hospital, my DH passed out!
I’m feeling ok so far today. I went to Target earlier and had to stop a few times but nothing too tragic. I’m going to take a nap now while my DD is sleeping. I’m hoping to get some laundry done and pluck my eyebrows later. I think they’re taking over my face now and if I can help it, I like to have them done before I go into labor. I don’t exactly know why but the last two times before labor I’ve been obsessed with getting a mani/pedi and eyebrow wax before labor. The weird thing is I usually never do those things, its just not in my nature and I feel like it’s a waste of money, but I LOVE having them done for labor. Its kind of a little thing that makes me feel more womanly while in labor. Does that make any sense? Anyways I can’t afford to go have them done this time, or at least really can’t justify the expense so I’ve slowly been doing it on my own. I was quite a site doing my toes, trust me, not pretty! But, they look nice now!
Ok off to nap.

Have a nice nap! I hope your body slows down a little for you, or you could be in a tiny baby or a very long next few weeks. Your dream is funny, of course it wouldn't be if it really happen to youI hope you make it the hospital in pleanty of time and your DH doesn't pass out!!
What a great intro. I definitely understand the tensing muscles during labor. That is what happens to me at 7cm. So I too am preparing way more for that part. Hope your nap was restful.
You should have had your hubby do the toenail painting!![]()
I hope you have a good nap. I totally agree with you about getting a pedicure....a nice treat before labour.

Welcome to your lodge! I loved reading your intro! I may have had the same problem with tensing up with my DD's birth.
Your dream was funny.

Great intro - I love how your DH was the only one at your party - LOL!!! I bet he says that you only invited him - typical man!! I am sorry your pregnancy and labour with your son was so difficult, I am glad that Hailey's birth was much better even with the epi. Can't wait to here about this LO's birth - I hope you get what you want!
