when I talked to her this morning she sounded really good i think she was playing a game with her husband lol. Her contractions are just not doing anything yet so not sure what they are going to do....her nurse told her they didn't really do the foley all that often there. That's what got my contractions going for my induction a few years ago
I'll update when/if I hear more

Well, they couldn't do a foley because I was already dilated too much this morning for it to do anything. The doctor broke my water this morning at 8:30, now I am on pitocin but hard labor hasn't kicked in yet. Doc is getting some pressure from the hospital to do the repeat but the baby is doing good and he is fighting it. Hope my body can start doing what it should and get this baby out vaginally! So frustrating!

Oh goodness! I am so sorry that the foley wasn't has helpful as it could have been. At least you're dilated though. :/ I sure hope the pit worked and that your body picked up contractions. Good for the doc for fighting off the pressure. Sure hope he stays strong (and on duty) to help you win this fight!

Kate had the baby last night at 7:03 via c-section. They couldn't give her enough pitocin to really get the labor going, and she had only dialated to a 4 after being there all day (she was admitted at a 3). She is absolutely beautiful, red hair and chubby cheeks. She weighed 8 lbs 3 oz and 20.5 inches long. I'll let Kate update more but just wanted you all to know
