Had a great weekend, my family all came into town to throw me a baby sprinkle. It was so much fun! Thanks sis for all of your hard work, you're the best! She really went all out with the sprinkle theme. We had a chocolate fountain with all kinds of yummy things to dip, cupcake fondue with tons of different sprinkles to add and everything was polka dotted. Everyone had so much fun! By the end you could tell everyone was well sugared up by all of the laughter in the air, it made for a really fun party! Here are a few pics:

I had my 36 week appointment today and we were finally able to get a good 3D picture of my little stinker. She has always had her back turned or an arm in front of her face for all of the other ultrasounds so we got some pictures but they were all a little distorted. Wish I could figure out a way to put the ultrasound pictures on here. How do you ladies do it? I just have printouts so do I just take a picture of it with my camera? Anyway, the doctor said everything looks good and if I go into labor at this point they won't stop me. Definitely not going early here though. My prediction is for April Fool's day. I think even if I don't go then I will tell everyone I had her (not on here of course) just as a joke

Welcome!!!

I hired a doula today! I am so excited. I really feel like doing this natural and my way is possible finally. My husband gave me a bit of a hard time about hiring the doula. He thought it was a waste of money and that I should just get an epidural. I really feel strongly that in order to get this VBAC I so desperately want I need to do it without as many interventions as possible and without the epidural.

So anyways, my doula is named Delores and I think she is going to be so great. She actually trains other doulas and teaches childbirth classes. She said I can join her childbirth class that she is starting next week and she won't even charge me. She has also worked with my OB and has a good relationship with him so everything is working out perfectly. Oh, yea and after meeting with her my husband is on board also!!!

Woohoo for finding a doula!!!

My DH initially wanted me to have an epidural this time but now he is fully supportive of an unmedicated birth, it makes all the difference. Yay for your DH being on board now!
