I had 2 separate dreams last night that I had my LO, also another dream that DH and I had sex. I think that is the key, we must DTD today One of the dreams about having the baby was a little bit disturbing. I dreamt that I woke up and looked over on the bed and there was the baby still inside my uterus but not inside my body Her head was sticking out and everything was fine but I just thought we need to get to the hospital to finish delivering this baby. I think I had that dream because of a visual that was shown at our childbirth class on Tuesday. Crazy pregnancy dreams, you never know what you'll end up with.

    Unhappy

I am a little frustrated right now...I just got off the phone with my MIL. Apparently she and my FIL are going out of town on my due date for about 4 days. They are going up to Seattle (14 hours away) for an Eagle court of honor for my BIL's step kids. Really?!? Is that more important than being here when we have a baby and have 4 other kids we need help with? I was hoping they would be able to come and stay with the kids but apparently our kids are going to have to stay with friends for sure now (at least while I am laboring). I really should not be surprised. They do crap like this all the time. In fact, they were out of town when I gave birth to my 3 year old which wasn't that big of a deal since I was living with my parents at the time (with hubby across the country). Anyway, they are definitely not the supportive grandparents I would like my kids to have but what can I do? My parents are great but also live 5 hours away instead of the 1 hour to the in-laws. We actually see my parents more often because they come to visit more often. The freeway to the in-laws only goes one way if YKWIM. GRRRRR! My mom is going to come up after I am home from the hospital so she can help with cooking/cleaning while I am recovering but she has a fairly new job and no vacation time yet. She will only be able to be here for a week or so and if I end up with a c-section I would definitely like the help more after I am home. Anyway, that is my rant for the day.

Yea, everything will be fine it is just really annoying. Last time that same brother and sister-in-law had a baby the in-laws made the 14 hour drive to stay with them for a week and help with their other kids. Now we are in the same boat and only live an hour away and instead of being willing to come and help they are leaving town. Sometimes I just wish I could divorce my in-laws without divorcing my DH. Oh well, at least she isn't insisting on being there during the birth or something...that would be much worse! She talks nonstop and would just drive me batty! We definitely had a better relationship with them when we lived in Indiana and they were in Utah It was actually fun when we came to visit and we didn't have to deal with all of the drama. The sad thing is that we moved back to be closer to family.

I would be angry too! You need them to help out and they should be there for you. I don't like my inlaws at all but if they didn't come to the hospital to see this baby I would be so hurt.

My hubby and I went on our Anniversary date last night. We had a lot of fun. The comedy club we went to was a hypnotist show for the night so that was pretty entertaining. The seats were soooo uncomfortable though. By the time we left I was having a hard time walking my back and pelvis hurt so much.

I took some tylenol when I got home to help with aches and pains so I could sleep a little better. It didn't work, I still really hurt this morning. When I woke up this morning I had a bit of a coughing fit with kind of a bulging sensation down below. Oh no! I really don't want to have this baby today! I do NOT want to share my anniversary for the rest of my life with my baby's birthday! I know that sounds selfish but that's how I feel. Anyway, I went in to use the bathroom after I got up and after I wiped there were a couple of leaks that did not feel like pee...I have had my water break before and it was always a gush so I am just going to keep an eye on it and hope it isn't the real thing...

Oh and Happy 12th Anniversary to my sweetheart! I love you!
