happy anniversary and I hope baby holds off at least 1 more day for you!

Went into labor and delivery this afternoon. I was in denial all morning that this could possibly be "it". I even went to church I was a little distracted wondering if there would be a big gush the whole time I was there. About half way through church I started having some contractions and hot flashes so my hubby and I decided we better go in and see if my water really did break. After 2 hours in L&D we got sent home I REALLY don't want to have this baby on my Anniversary!!! My water is still intact. It did make me realize how close this really is. It could very easily be this week that I am in there to stay and have a baby. Anytime after today I would be fine with, but for now I am more than happy to be home...

Oh man! So much, I missed!

First, for the ILs. I am so sorry they are doing that. It sounds like typical behavior for them but that's not cool. You shouldn't have to feel like that. I get along OK with my ILs but they do drive me batty in a lot of things they do/don't do and say. Oy! When Grace was born they came to the hospital (which was nice since they live about 5.5 hrs away. Anyway, they stayed in my room until like midnight the day I delivered AND held my sweet baby girl WAY more than I wanted! I was so annoyed and hurt. We're putting up more boundaries this time around.

Happy Anniversary, a day late! I hope you were able to enjoy your day with your hubby, even with the little time in L&D. I agree, I wouldn't want to share my anniversary either. Grace was due 2 days after ours and was born 4 days after it. So I understand the situation!

I sure hope you're doing well and feeling well. Your sweet baby will be here so soon!!

Sorry sis! I was in denial and really didn't want it to happen. If I was admitted I would have called everyone then. Don't feel bad, I didn't call Mom and Dad either

Well I am glad you are home, but you are sooo close. I am still in denial myself. LOL

I am currently in labor and delivery having a stress test done. I went in this morning for my 39 week check and my doctor did a nst and there were some decelerations the doctor didn't like. Depending on how she does I may be heading for a repeat c-section today . That is really not what I want. Send prayers please!
