I've tried writing a reply 4 times and I keep getting cut off. Stupid blackberry and computer...

Anyways... I ended up going into the hospital Monday night after the contractions were 2 minutes apart lasting for 60-90 seconds. Unfortunately the contractions were not strong enough. I was sent home at 3am with sleeping pills and slept until 11am (heaven).

Since then, I have been contracting randomly. I've lost my plug and still loosing. Soooo gross. I can get some pretty strong contractions with nipple stimulation within a minute or 2. I know baby will come when he is ready. But being this far dialated is so uncomfortable. And today I've been having crazy pressure that makes it difficult and painful to walk.

We are all staying at my parents house which is only 15 mins to the hospital when not pushing the speed limit too much. From our house, its 45-60 minutes depending on traffic and time of day. And plus this way, DS is already at my parents house, so if we have to leave in the night, we are not dragging him out of bed. I can't wait to get back to my bed instead of the sofa bed at my parents.

Baby seems to be in perfect position to come out. DS even said "out please" yesterday. DS was 11 days early, so I'm still hoping for any day now. I'm already getting annoyed with people checking up on me daily and I'm not even at 38 weeks.

Sorry for the random thoughts.

First time this week I've been up in the night. My hips woke me up just killing me. Plus some mild cramping. I keep having some random cramping in random areas of my belly too. Ugh, I want to go back to sleep.

Just remember that "false" labor is not false. It is your body getting ready for the final delivery. Hang in there I know it is hard.

i agree...hope all these uncomfy cramps/contractions are making progress so labor will be faster once it comes!

38 weeks! Pretty good considering the doctor didn't think I'd make it to 36-37 weeks.

Braxton hicks are getting stronger. Having random contractions. Can't wait to meet my little man.

Yay! Happy 38 Weeks!!! Your body is doing a great job getting ready and you are doing great staying patient. That baby is gonna come at just the right time and be perfectly baked!! Go you! I hope you sleep better, rest is heavenly!

Any news? Did the contractions pick up?

My water broke on the doctors exam table. She was checking me, did a little sweep and said "whoops, I think I broke your water." So now I'm sitting in the lounge waiting for a room. And the contractions just started picking up.

It's BABY day!!!!
