yeah after leaving the hospital (and even still now) I keep having contractions...nothing regular, but I might have to call the MW on call again in the next day or next few days if things continue in this trend just going upstairs, helping DS on/off the potty, and coming back to the basement is very difficult. makes me wonder if I will survive work tomorrow.

the girl taking my patients while I am on leave will be with me from 1 pm on...so I could always leave early if need be...just gotta make sure I am caught up with all my paperwork before I leave. I am currently caught up, but I have a new patient to evaluate tomorrow late morning...so I think I might have to be "bad" and skip our staff meeting at lunch for fear of not getting to finish typing it before I leave, if I am tired and need to leave early.

What an ordeal. I am glad everything is ok though. I hope those contractions actually start something real.

Sounds like a crazy day! I'm so glad everything turned out to be fine. It's nice that you have the option to go home early tomorrow if you need to. I hope you can get some rest!

Geez, woman! What a day! I hope it was just a fluke....if it was your heart rate I'd be seriously concerned about your care providers though! First the mix up on the breech, and now this!

I hope baby boy comes soon. I know you're feeling pretty ready to meet him.

And take it easy at work!!!

seriously, I thought the same thing... that said...it was in the exact place where they found his heart rate with the monitors at the hospital. the doppler was being kinda goofy as far as not picking up sound great...so I don't know if it was mine on top of his or truly it was low. I was having a really strong contraction right before...and he did perk up with scalp stim...so who knows. I am pretty darn sure it was his heart beat at the MW office...it was the OB on call who gave that as a possible explanation (there are such huge vessels in your uterus at this point...blah blah...not to say the MW's aren't skilled blah blah...even OBs make that mistake). Anywho...I am just diligently paying attention to kicks and movements since then. Normally he is so wiggly that I never have to count kicks/movements.

How scary. I'm so glad everything is okay and LO is doing well. It must've been nice to see LO on the BPP u/s after that scare.

I cannot believe you are still working. I feel so lazy, I don't think I did anything the last month before I had DD2 (she came a month early and I had no plans to get energetic for the last month I was supposed to be pregnant )
