So glad to hear that you're feeling content!

Sorry that your boobs are a little sore, babies grow so fast though, before you know it the size of her mouth won't be an issue. And perhaps now that your milk is in she won't be spending as much time latched on and therefore have less time that she's slipping down onto your nipple. She doesn't appear to be tongue tied as well does she?

She is so beautiful! My DS had horrible latch issues and I remember how hard it was to continue on. Hope it gets better soon for you.

Anyway, she wouldn't take it!! She totally looked at me like 'you want me to DRINK this?! Not a chance'. It was great - my little lactivist baby. So, no more doing that!
Yay for Lilu and a little girl who knows what she wants

I am so glad that you are enjoying this special time. And 3-4 hours stretches at night, I'd take that

Totally, on both counts!! I'm loving this kid's ability to sleep at night already! I just hope it stays!

Now, if I could get her to poop... she hasn't pooped since yesterday morning. There was no more meconium, she had a regular baby poop yesterday, but today nothing. I know all the stuff says she should have 3 poops on day 3, so I'm a little worried that she hasn't even had one. She's SUPER gassy though, and EVERY time I check she's had a pee...probably 6 or so today. But no poo!!

they seriously send home formula? our nurses look at you like you have 2 heads if you even mention formula. Well I'm glad she turned her nose up at it lol. Honestly last night I would have done the same, We both have thrush and my nips are KILLING me.

Great stretches at night too, I'm glad you're settling in so well and that you'er so happy. I loved your FB status

They used to send home formula here too, although I understand that has changed since I had DD.

I'm glad your milk is finally coming in, breastfeeding was definately hard for me until that happened and gets so much better afterwards (as they heal of course).

We get formula here too. I am sorry your boobs are sore. Has she been in for a weight check yet?
