My Ovulation Chart
Slowly working on our birth story. I want to write it out fairly detailed because I didn't with Grace and I regretted that later. Anyway, almost done!
Charlie is doing well. My milk always comes in super fast. But he's nursing fairly well considering I practically choke him every feed. Poor little guy had milk up his nose most of last night. Couldn't get it out with a syringe. I hate using those things! This morning I was starting to think he was getting sick. But got some reassurance from our doc that it's highly unlikely that he caught our cold.
I was confused when in our PP room. I started having a sore throat. At first I figured it was from grunting/moaning/screaming during delivery. But DH said I didn't do that much (I remember doing it during pushing a few times but not loudly or a lot). Anyway, turned into nose congestion and clearly a cold. Same thing DD must have been feeling earlier in the week - hence her not sleeping well. Anyway, I ended up having a cold, DH got it, and I am hoping that my body has built up against it that I can pass that on to Charlie so he doesn't get it.
He's our sweet little boy though. Still very sleepy and just doing what he does best: eat, sleep, poop. Hee hee!
Grace is adjusting. Each day gets easier. I am trying to give her some one and one attention through out the day. It's so hard though because my stitches still hurt and I can tell I'm a little swollen/bruised down there still. But other than that stinging, I feel great! Just tired. But yeah, I'm glad Grace is nursing too. She helps relieve my engorgement and she is SSOOOOO happy to have regular milk again! LOL!!!
We're going to go to our local CD store today and just get a few things. It's finally warm and sunny here and I am SO ready to get outside for a few minutes! WOOHOO!
Congrats!!! Cannot wait to hear the whole story!! Sounds like it went fast! Glad little man isn't sick. My daughter was also very congested the first couple weeks and I remember thinking she was sick but I am sure it was just some fluids from birth and milk! So glad things are healing well!
Those first few days are a little rough on the other child but they get easier! I remember my son would hardly come near me for the first couple days but in no time at all he was loving me again and best of all he was loving his sis How cool that you can nurse her and give her some special time. I was always so sad that my son weaned during my pregnancy because I would have loved to have him help with the engorgement! lol Glad you are able to get out and shop a little! We are having great weather here too and it feels heavenly!
