It sounds like your appt went really well and yay for baby dropping. I am so sorry about your WIC appt though. Seriously I laughed out loud you you mentioned the PTL thing. I was like ummm you are term. LOL Don't let her get you down. I guess I don't see it as a big deal. Women breastfeed TWINS for goodness sake. Mom's milk responds to the needs of the baby or babies that need the milk. Ugh. Just blow her off. You are doing great mama!!!

Sounds like a great doctors appointment Michelle! The WIC lady probably just doesn't know much about tandem breastfeeing perhaps? And if Grace and you are happy to do it, then keep going, don't let others tell you to stop something that you both enjoy!

Where I live, many women don't even BF until 6 months. The fact that I'm working outside of the home and pumping at work and DD is almost 4 months, people look at me strange when I tell them that... The longer we BF, the more comments I'm sure I will get..... It's amazing how little people think about what they are saying before it comes out of their mouths! LOL

Oh, I hope Charlie waits until tomorrow, and ideally until your mom arrives! My guess is 38weeks, 5 days!

I think its great you're still bfing. Its what feels right for you. I personally wouldnt want to bf that long, but that is me, but I'd love to make it a bit longer this time. Who knows, maybe I'll feel different this time around, each kid is different to me.

OK, ladies... I need some input!

Since Friday I have been having little trickles. I am trying so hard to figure out where it is coming from! I do kegels daily and when I start to feel the trickle I try to do a kegel to stop it and it doesn't seem to do anything. When I go to the bathroom my underwear are wet - but sometimes it just looks like wetter discharge. I've heard amniotic fluid usually smells sweet. But this doesn't seem to have an odor. I drink a lot of water, so if it's urine, it probably wouldn't smell very strong, right? What else can I do to figure out where it's coming from and should I be concerned at all??

I've heard of women going awhile with a small leak, right? That's OK usually, right? But I *am* GBS+. So I really am not sure what to do. Call my OB? Wait it out? Keep trying to figure it out? I just don't know!

And... does anyone know... if it is amniotic fluid, but I'm not in labor, would they induce me? I really want to avoid that.

Otherwise, I am feeling pretty great. Exhausted because Grace hasn't been sleeping well the last two nights. But people I see on a regular basis say I've dropped.

I dont' know but with DS I'm pretty sure my water had been leaking for a while. When's your next appt? I'd probably get it checked just to be sure.

My next appt isn't until Wednesday. :/ If it continues I will call tomorrow. I didn't have it but once today, maybe? And it was less. I don't know. I'm keeping an eye on it though.

Well, we have been wanting to get this done for SO long now. We just did it today. I snipped these from the website. Bad, I know. But I wanted to share. I think they turned out pretty well.



We spent $40 and got a 2 yr membership, 6 sheets of pictures (all different poses), and the whole session. I thought that was pretty good.

If you go in they can tell you if it is fluid or not. They will most likely wantto induce you if you have ruptured, BUT you can decline. They can't technically do anything to you without your consent. Have you tried any of the natural methods to get rid of th GBS? That is a hard one. I wish they had those tests strips for home use. I say do what feels most comfortable to you. I know really helpful right.
