I know they have them at Vitamin Shoppe in the digestion section.

I'm not sure if grocery stores have them as we all have different stores in different parts of the country?

Good Luck and keep us posted.

So did you end up getting tested? What a pain, I am sorry.

Yeah, I did go in! Thankfully the floor was really quiet so they had us in and out in less than an hour!! All is well. No amniotic fluid. They were great about saying over and over again "Better to check and just know!" So that was cool. Plus, it made it all the more real that I am going to be having this baby SO soon. SOOO soon! The rooms are cool there... every room has a mirror on the ceiling so I can see the whole thing! And the rooms are good sizes too. I was impressed.

On the other hand, both the nurse and doc that checked me said they think I'm only 2cm (as opposed to doc last week saying I'm 3). But to his defense, he did say he could 'stretch me to 3' or something like that. LOL!

So, things are good. Now just really really hoping he bakes until next Saturday the 16th! My mom flies in the 14th.

Please, oh, please, oh please!!! I like 4-16-11.

yay! I'm glad it wasn't your water. And those rooms would freak me out. I hate mirrors, but I guess it wouldn't bother me in labor, lol.

I just got caught up on your lodge. I loved reading your story! Glad everything turned out okay and it wasn't amniotic fluid.

    Default Rough Morning...

Grace wasn't sleeping last night much. I think the most hours she pulled together was a two hour stretch. Then it was up every 30 minutes or so. And it was driving me NUTS! I started having a really bad lower back ache that would only let up when I had a contraction. And the contractions were fairly intense. Could still talk through them but I did need to focus and breath to relax for some (always good practice, right?). I'm pretty sure it was all due to Grace BFing so much. Every time she woke up that's all she wanted. Then she'd stay on for a bit.

Finally at 4am, after having quite a few more rounds of this back pain/contractions, I had to get up. She was crying, crying, crying... so I just started asking her what was wrong. Is she hungry? Does her tummy hurt? Does she need a diaper change? To which she responded by sitting up, saying "diaper" and pointing to leave her room. So, we got up.

Since then, I've had a backache on one side but no where near as painful as it was. And only a few contractions. I guess we'll see what happens here shortly when I put her back down.

I'm starting to wonder if BFing is going to bring labor on earlier than *I* want! 10 days... can I make it 10 days??? Of course we'll be thrilled and ready if he came any time. But it'd be SO convenient if he could cook another 10 days!

Oh and my next appt is this afternoon. Doc gave me a 50/50 chance of making it to this appt! LOL! Wonder what he'll say for next weeks. Haha!
