I think I feel better now that I'm not working (outside of home anyway..).
Something fun about being past the EDD is the reaction people have when you say that you were due "x days ago". They always get this shocked look on their face like they pity you and like your water might break on their shoes. And then there's the inevitable, "How far will they let you go?".
Haha, this makes me laugh! They are probably worried you will go into labor right then and there and will have to rush you to the hospital or deliver the baby themselves. My mom was telling me the other day that when she was laboring with me my Aunt and Uncle stopped in (not knowing she was in labor). After they had been there a while my Aunt said, "you're in labor aren't you?" My uncle said, "let's get the hell out of here or we'll end up babysitting!"
I had this happen to me yesterday by a prenatal pilates instuctor! It was at the chiropractor's office and she was my chiro's next appointment. She *was* going to tell me I should come to a few of her classes....until I told her baby was over a week "late." She got all wide-eyed.I don't think she wants me coming anywhere near her studio!

Well, congrats on making it through the end of work and through your due date. I was gone for several days due to sick kid, work, etc and I really expected to see a baby announcement here
Hope you don't make it to Thursday, but even if you do, you will still have time!

It's so refreshing to read about women like you who are content to let baby come on their own time! I know so many who are such martyrs about being pregnant that they insist upon an induction at 38 or 39 weeks.
Can't wait to hear that baby is here!

Up early this morning... 4:30... Blech! I was originally awoken by my son climbing in bed, but then I had a few contractions, and then I couldn't tell if it was contractions or hunger pain. I got up, ate a bowl of cornflakes with bananas and haven't had anymore. So I guess I was starving! haha
Sounds like you are doing good. I can imagine the comments. LOL![]()
