How are you doing?
I had the fishy pool for my home birth last time! Well, I would have used it if my DH hadn't punctured it while I was in labour (but that's a whole other story!) - it was great during our trial run though

I've been doing some more nesting this weekend. I got five dinners in the freezer yesterday. I sewed up 4 blankets today. Two for our babe and two for a friend whose baby shower is in a couple weeks. I'm knitting now. I'd like to get several hats done by the first of April.
I'm surprised how uncomfortable I am already. It's a struggle to do pretty much anything. I feel so incredibly awkward. My sleeping is going downhill. It's very hard for me to fall asleep and get back to sleep after waking up. The other night I lay awake from 11-3am. Ugh.
My diet is another thing making things difficult. I absolutely have to have plenty of protein in the morning or I feel terrible about an hour after I eat. If all I have is sugar and carbs (which is all I want) I feel very weak, my heart starts racing and I cant take a deep breath. Very yucky, I hate it. It also happens later in the day if I go too long without eating. But as long as I take some time to eat right and keep the right food in the house, I'm fine.
I know I complain too much. I hate complaining but I feel like this is the only place I can do it, so I'm going to go ahead.
Time keeps on ticking by though. It still feels like this baby will be here in no time. I can't wait to meet him or her.

I'm another that planned on freezer meals and it just hasn't happened. I don't feel like cooking the day-to-day meals anymore!
I sometimes get that short-of-breath feeling in the mornings. I've never thought about needing more protein. I should give it a try.

Just a few almonds or a bite of cheddar helps me each morning.

sorry to hear you are so uncomfortable and can't sleep. I am exactly the same way. Usually I can lay down and go right to sleep but not lately, it is so annoying. It seems like the baby is definitely a night person too. She thinks it is time to dance as soon as I lay down. Nice job on the dinners and all of the sewing! Wish I was that motivated I just don't feel like doing anything so I waste all of my time online reading VBAC birth stories. You definitely don't complain too much, we all understand!!!
I have been doing some of the freezer meals though and I don't know why I haven't started this sooner. We have already used some of them on the days I just can't talk myself into cooking. For those of you who haven't started just start by cooking double of what you are making for that night (even if all that will freeze is the meat). The other night I was making hamburger helper because we had our friends kids over (making 9 kids in my house ). I had a package of hamburger in the fridge that was a 4 pounder so I cooked all of it. Once it was cooked I put half in one pan and made the hamburger helper for that night and then added tomatoes and sloppy joe mix to the other 2 lbs. Half of that went into the fridge for the next night and the other half went in the freezer for later. It didn't take me any longer standing at the stove than if I was just making dinner for that night. Love it!
Gosh, Sarah! We April mamas are getting soooo close! You sure are motivated, though... freezer meals done already. Good for you! I should work on that this week. I know my mom is planning on coming up and she helped do that when she came for DDs. So maybe I should just wait for her again.
Anyway, super excited to read about your birth. Hope the insurance stuff gets figured out. Mine straight out says it won't pay for anything but an OB. Blah.
