Check out Spinning Babies, it has tons of tricks for turning both breech and OP babies. Avoid anything that puts you in a reclining position, don't sleep on one side for too long, that's all I can remember, LOL!

Just remembered one more part of my appt. The doc said they would def want more action once I hit 41w. They don't want me to go past that due to fatality rates for the baby. bah. When she asked my plans for if I were to hit 41w and still no baby would I opt for a rcs. I told her I'd just see where we are, which is true. I think I'd ask for some monitoring, and if they want, an u/s to see how baby and placenta are. If she stays OP I can see going over due. She did state that they can do an induction if needed, but I do not want that.

I'm glad you spoke with someone who wasnt' trying to scare you into making a rcs choice. As for OP babies, all fours is supposed to really help. I delivered mine OP, and it's my own darn fault because of how I lounge in my chair every night.

I know my midwife's policy for going after 41 weeks is a stress test to make sure baby is handling everything ok (it also helps to make sure placenta is producing well) and an ultrasound to check fluid levels and placenta age. If everything looks good she gives lots of tips on how to get labor started (she has a special concoction recipe and sends ladies to the herbal store to get the supplies). If you have an herbal store in the are it might help to go ask them what could help kick start things.

Ethan was OP and delivered that way. The pushing phase was much smoother with DD who wasn't OP. My midwives office just starts monitoring more at the 41 week mark.

well I think she moved left then right through the night as I felt her hitting the mattress as I was laying on my side with 3 pillows between my legs I can also say she's been moving a ton more since I've been doing that and being on all 4s to get her to turn. I think she likes the extra room, just not enough to turn yet. I'm trying to be patient. I'm already on edge enough with her fitting in the normal way, I just can't imagine doing an OP, but I'm very willing to try if I have to. Though in all honesty I can't say I haven't thought about just having a rcs just to make sure all goes more smoothly, but I also know I'd hate myself for it as soon as I had her. Now if I tried and gave it my all and then had a rcs I'd hopefully be more forgiving of myself. *sigh* I can't help but wonder if she turns around if I'll just go into labor quickly, which will be fine with me Though when I was reading more on OP I saw that your water has a greater tendency to break so every time I *roll* out of bed I can't help but wonder if it'll break my waters, lol. So here's praying she throws me into labor sometime this week. I really don't want to go to another counseling appt.

I just read an article today that said the morbidity really doesn't increase until 43w. I would give it until 42w at least and then at that point you could opt for a more nature induction. Inducing with a foley bulb etc. There is no reason to go to RCS at that point. I am glad your appt went well though.

I don't plan on a rcs, just makes me feels like it'd be easier at times, but I know its not.
