I had a hard time sleeping last night :/ Part of me thinks it's because DH slept in the office on the futon though in addition to some cramping, BH, and a very active baby who was trying to claw out of my cervix. I listened to 2 HypnoBabies tracks (one was the joyful pregnancy) and was able to get relaxed enough but not fall asleep. Finally I was able to sleep and DD didn't come and wake me up until 9:30am. I'm still tired so hopefully I'll be able to get in a nap sometime today if DD cooperates and takes one with me.
It always killed me when 1-2 tracks failrd to 'knock' me out when it was usually a struggle to stay awake. Hope you get that nap today!

I really hope you can get some rest. Labor is hard work, you need it!
I slept a little bit better last night, DH slept with me so I shared the bed, haha. The only bad part about him sleeping with me is that his alarm went off, and of course woke me up, and he hit snooze 3-4 times but I was awake after the first one (5:20am). I was pretty hungry too so I ate breakfast early and tried to go back to sleep but wasn't able to. I took a shower at 8am in time to wake up DD and get her ready for preschool but by the time I got out and all dressed I wasn't feeling too well. My head/eyes hurt, probably because I couldn't go back to sleep, and I guess I'm just feeling a bit "off" today; so DD stayed home since I had to leave, get gas, then drop her off and it was just a bit too much for me to do when I didn't even want to stand up. I was able to get DD to come lay down with me in bed and I was half-asleep off and on until 10:30am and I'm feeling a little bit better. I don't feel like I'm coming down with anything but I'm thinking I just need to play catchup on rest, especially since I'm actually able to lay down comfortably for a long period of time; even though part of me wants to be active, walking around, and all that good stuff.
At least tomorrow she doesn't have preschool so we'll both *hopefully* be able to sleep in, and I'll try to get to bed earlier tonight.
I slept okay last night, I wasn't able to go to bed until after 1am but that's because DH was awake too so it wasn't too bad I guess. DD let me sleep in until 10:30am I was still tired but that's my fault for not going to be earlier. Nothing exciting happening on the birthing front, just normal BH contrax every so often but nothing that's really painful, just "uncomfortable" (that's not even the right word.... they're just annoying). I was able to lanolize the wool that I needed to the other day and they're all dry so besides missing the 2 OS FB that my mom has at her house and some extra inserts and disposable liners (that I won't need to use for a long time) everything is all ready.... I'm waiting until I get the 2 FB before I finish washing the diapers that I haven't washed/prepped yet.
Anyways, I thought I'd share some photos of my "stash" and Brooke's room (even though we'll be keeping her in the co-sleeper in our room).
Fitteds (Kissaluvs & ones made by me)... plus a bunch of OBV/OBF/Fleece nursing pads I made:
BG AIOs (Size small) & the next size up kissaluvs and other OS fitteds/pockets & Duo Covers:
Stuff I still need to prep (diapers I made - 4 nb fitteds & the OS pockets):
More fitteds (KLO 0), Duo Wraps, tons of cloth wipes (even though I have a TON of sposie ones too) and the wool that I have (I'm not planning on continuing with wool since DH strongly dislikes it):
Then Brooke's room (don't mind the birth pool hanging out in the crib and clutter on the shelf):
I had a boppy last time and it was okay, I still have it and will keep it as a back up. The brest friend seems like it'll be much more comfy/nursing friendly with a baby; plus I found it for $10 at a resell store and just had to wash the cover so it was well worth it.
awww so cute!
What a cute nursery! The diapers are adorable, too.
I can't wait to hear how the "breast friend" pillow works for you (and Jenn) I have really small breasts and the boppy has never worked for me.
