glad to hear you're making some progress and your tests went well. I have a wrap that is kind of the homemade version of a Moby (made with cotton jersey, which is no-sew, and really easy to make) I want to make another one from a sturdier material like what the didymos is made from so I can do back carries with it
Hope you get some more contractions soon!
Awesome about the good test results! I know what you mean about the NST - I had one yesterday and was on forever, too, due to a sleeping baby. I have to go back later this week, too.
Acupuncture was pretty good yesterday - she left some little tacks (they don't go in your skin, just on it) to stimulate some points and I go back tomorrow for another treatment after my BPP/NST.
We finally got things settled with the dog walker, which has been really worrying me. My dog is old and has arthritis, he is usually pretty good with stairs and everything, but my mom and aunt who will be here are nervous about the stairs with him (I am too) since my mom has mild parkinsons and my aunt is having double knee replacement in a month. I really wanted to have someone do his walks even if my family is here. I feel so much better about that now. Maybe I can go into labor now?
I am just making sure that everything is ready now - I feel like I have gone over the lists several times and things are really basically ready. I have to just get a few things for baking cookies while I am in early labor - which is no big deal and test the coffee grinder for the placenta encapsulation.
I'm all ready to have a baby now - anytime little girl!
You're going to encapsulate your own placenta??? COOL!
I'm glad that you got your dog walker set up and can relax now that eveything is settled.

I'm doing the placenta encapsulation too. I'm not sure if I am totally on board with it but I figure it can't hurt anything, right? I'm excited to see if it actually works You'll have to let us know what you think as well.
How ya feeling today?

I am glad your appt went well. There are some accupressure points you can try too. I am flaking and don't remember the eact points, but I will come back after I get home from work and let you know. Of course there is nipple stimulation and Evening primorse oil you can try too. I hate the cutoff dates. Especially at 41w boo. I 2nd the babywearer site. The Didymo is a nice wrap because it is not stretchy like the moby. I carry the sleepy wrap in my shop (which is similar to the moby). I am looking at getting a non-stretchy wrap too, but I haven't decided on one yet. And to be honest don't have the cash to invest in anything new right now. I have a friend who has one and loves it. Heck you might even check ebay. That is neat about the incapsulation.

My midwife said there is some pretty good anecdotal evidence supporting placenta encapsulation. I have a history of anxiety disorders/depression and would much rather do this than antidepressants. The idea totally freaks me out, but I am going to do it anyway.
I might check ebay and the FSOT board on the babywearer... I am also going to look and see if I find another pattern I like. I'm probably not going to get one right away though, all the spare cash right now is going to acupuncture, placenta encapsulation and a newborn photographer. DH is ready to cry.
I had a really long day today. Had another BPP/NST this am and I am really beginning to hate them. The midwives don't order them or really require them, but the hospital/birth center does. This am the doctor actually came in to triple check the tech's AFI measurement and make sure she could get a good measurement. When she was done she told me she wants me to come in on Monday and go to L&D for a recheck (I'll be risked out of the birth center by then) and see what they say because she is concerned my fluids were going to be low. They were at 6.5 this am and the baby had a full bladder - that is still ok! Gah. I'm going to talk to the midwife tomorrow and see what she says.
I had some contractions, but the most exciting thing was that I was spotting a bit when I went to the bathroom this afternoon - not a lot, but the fact that anything is happening like that is encouraging.
DH & I went out for lunch after and I had some spicy green curry to see if spicy food does anything. After lunch it was acupuncture which was good.
I scheduled a massage for tomorrow am - my acupuncturist recommended someone who does prenatal massage and can hopefully help move things along as well. I am way more okay with all of these more natural induction attempts than a chemical induction.
Wow - I wrote a book.
