OMG Christa, that is a lot of canning! GL doing it all today.

Home visit this afternoon/evening, yay. First time I don't have to drive an hour to get to my appt.! Trying to stay cool today as it will be another hot one. Love that I have AC, last pregnancy we didn't and it was yucky.

I was driving an hour to my MW visits as well, and it wasn't fun late in the pregnancy. I have to say I have totally enjoyed the home visits too. And I drove this whole summer with no a/c haha and didn't realize it. I thought I was just being an overheated pregnant lady, but DH came home and took the car in and it was totally out of freon... I felt like such a dork. I drove me and poor DD around all summer sweating and didn't even think that it was out of freon... *doh!*

I hope your appointment goes well today!!

Love having home visits! Gave them the home tour and we talked about where all the birth stuff will happen. Everything looks good with baby and I. Nothing really to report. All the pressure and pelvic splitting in 1/2 feelings I've been having are super good even if it doesn't feel that way. Got my next 3 appts. booked that will take me into 40ish weeks JIC, we can book more after. Always feel yucky after having to lay on my back and get my belly squished, so painful, that should go away soon though. Can't believe the next time MW's will be at my house will be on LO birth day! So exciting!

Ariel--I'm glad he got the car AC figured out. LOL, can't believe you drove around all summer without realizing it. Too funny.

Joy, I'm so glad to hear the home visit went well and things are straightened out and scheduled. Boo for feeling icky, though, I am right there with you.

One can hope you won't need all those appointments, right?

Woo Hoo, found under pads finally!!! No, not at our local drug store or even the one chain store we have (target) but at the grocery store of all places. Right between the depends, pads, and condoms...lol. So random.

Also got the flip cover I ordered in the mail today. Yay. It looks really nice and I can't wait to try it out. Got a 2nds one on cottonbabies.com for $9 and figured I couldn't pass it up. I registered for 2 flip covers and some other CD stuff because family kept asking about stuff to get baby but apparently no one really wants to buy CD stuff that I might actually want/need. Just more clothes that I already have too many of. Small vent over.

Last farmers market of the night tonight (boo) and then Wed. night sushi with DH and DS. Can't ever get enough sushi I swear. Been so flipping tired all day so now its off to bed to get some extra rest. Been have some random contractions at night that I've been noticing but able to fall back asleep through. I'm always so thrilled that my body is doing its thing!

Yay! I am so glad you found the pads! Sushi is a pregnant lady's prerogative, I ignore the recommendation against it every single pregnancy (common sense goes a long way, if it looks less than fresh or smells fishy, don't eat it! Duh!) and thoroughly enjoy each bite.

Get some rest and hopefully those contractions are nice and productive for you

i am late to your lodge...sorry.

I am glad that your body is showing that it knows what to do. Confidence is so important especially with a vbac.

Yay, I'm glad I'm not the only person that kicks the no sushi rules out the door and still eats it to its fullest! I just couldn't give it up and yes, common sense goes a long way.

I can't roll over in bed 1/2 the time any more. I seriously had to get on all fours at one point just to switch sides last night. That must be the most pathetic looking things to watch ever. Glad DH was sound alseep. Woke up this morning and thought I had developed a leak or something but found that it was just (I think) the waterproof pad I had finally put over the mattress. I must be a sweaty sleeper or its just really humid now that we are back to lower temps outside. Either way kinda a gross way to wake up.

mmmmm Sushi, I love it. I don't crave it at all in the first trimester but after that it's all fair game, that and a good cold cut sandwich once in a while with a coffee to wash it down lol, hey everything in moderation right?

I've been so bad at following lodges lately (don't know what could be causing that ). Sounds like things are coming together! I think I actually ate more fish while pregnant! I stick to sustainably harvested, low toxin fish so I'm picky and that makes sushi difficult. There are just too many good things in fish to go completely without!
