Yeah, sleeping with the water-proof pad always made me really sweaty too.

And I totally lived off of sushi and fresh pineapple while pregnant with DD.

All my preschool kids are out sick today or off on Friday. Yay. Going to take DS to get his hair cut and to the pumpkin patch since it opens today. Might as well get some of those weekend chores done early. Wally kepts asking why I want to get everything done right now but I keep reminding him that one of these weekends I'm actually going to be busy with a new baby and won't feel like hauling us all out to the pumpkin patch.

Did some walking laps around the block last night with DS on his bike. Random neighbors kept asking if I needed a ride home...lol. I don't think they thought my waddleing around looked fun. Little did they know it was a purposful waddle.

Stopped by the school I taught at last school and visited all my old teacher friends for lunch. Saw the kids that I would be working with this year had I not taken the year off. Ack. Our class sizes went up in Kinder to 24 and now we have them all day (already knew about this) plus we don't team teach or share classrooms anymore. I've never been so happy not to be in a classroom, sad but true. My poor partner (co-teacher) had a kid bite, another throw a tantrum, 2 criers, and 1 pee accident in the 5 min. I sat in to meet her kids. Rough year for them all but it was so good to see everyone. I can't imagine being there teaching right now this preg.

Ok, DS is telling me its time to go waddling around the block while we wait for our herb chicken to finish baking.

Ugh, those class sizes at that age would be rough. DH teaches 9th grade and one of his classes started the year at 41 students- he had to fight for two weeks to get it down to 28 or so but by then class discipline for the semester is shot.

Enjoy your waddle and your chicken

Major pregnancy moment last night at 3am when I got up to pee for the 4th time. Must have been really tired because I bashed my forhead into the pointy corner of the wall as I was coming out of the restroom. Ouch. It was so flipping loud that it scared Wally out of his sleep. Luckily no major bruise this morning that I can see, phew. I was so thinking I'd have a purple forhead this am to add to my look.

We are going to the county fair after DS's soccer practice today. Never been to this one since we just moved here last Oct. so it should be fun with lots of ag. stuff and animals.

    Oooow! Your poor head!

Have fun at the county fair, that will be a great little excursion for the afternoon, especially if you've never been. I used to love going to the fairs when I lived down in San Diego - I took for granted that they didn't get rained out, unlike up here . Your son is at the perfect age to enjoy them to the fullest, which should also make it a lot of fun for you and Wally!

The fair was a hit and lots of good walking too!

We scored a baby sitter for tonight so that Wally and I can go see a movie! Yay date night! Been a long time since we got out just the 2 of us and will be a while coming once LO is here. Gotta get Ryland down early which shouldn't be a problem since he didn't nap and has pretty much literally run all day with his 2 friends.
