From now on Carolynn wants me to drink a cup of tea first (caffeine boost to up BP) and keep the temp lower on the shower.
And if it happens again, I'm certainly not going to the hospital again unless it's really bad and doesn't pass with time and food intake.
Whew! I am glad it was nothing serious! I cringed upon reading you were engorged there for a while. OMG. Ouch.

yes, the engorgement would've killed me! i would've been looking for any baby to help me out! LOL
I hear you! I had to take Chloe to the ER for a severe Croup case in the fall and I had it in me to grab my PIS on the way out the door. I had a hunch it was going to take forever and didn't want to drag both the twins.
Homebirthing, breastfeeding, sling wearing, cloth diapering momma to 3 girls ages 7 and 6 year old twins and peanut #4 due sometime in late September
Did you ask for a pump? When I had my ER stint at Oshawa Gen they brought me a pump from the maternity wing, while I waited. It was great! Don't be afraid to ask for one next time!
I was actually SO close to asking for a pump. Next time I definitely will!
So jealous of your labor pics! I kept thinking I should have DH take some of me, but never did Glad your ER stint turned up nothing!
We had our 3 week appointment today. George is already 10 lbs 9 oz. Woot! He's big and healthy and happy. He's still a very contented little guy, and he's starting to be more bright eyed and alert. He sleeps pretty well too. He likes to eat almost non-stop from about 5 am to noon, and that's a little tough on me, but he sleeps big long chunks in the pm so it all balances out.
I'm dealing with thrush right now, which is not fun, but I'm doing genetian violet, acidopholus, nipple ointment and grapefruit seed extract, so hopefully we can nip quickly.
