Sorry for the false alarm. Just gearing up a little more for the real thing I bet.

MW called today, my GBS test came back negative! That's a relief, one less thing to worry about. Now I feel like I don't have to 'call it' early, I can wait till labor gets well under way before I call everyone over. Plus it's nice to not take the antibiotics right before nursing. So yay!
Still lots of contractions, some low and strong, some high and light. DH and I finally tried DTD to get things going, no dice. Made me feel ... weird... low contractions and all that, but no labor. I might try to find some red raspberry leaf tea.
My mom came home and got her cat so we were able to finish up the nursery, that was fun! We moved the changer in there and got a book shelf to keep supplies in. We still don't have a crib, but we probably won't till March or April, Jack will be in our room in the bassinet till then. But it's nice to have all his clothes put away and my nursing station set up.
Hope to report some action soon!
Sorry for the false alarm! I know what it's like dealing with prodromal labour. Not fun!
I've really enjoyed reading your lodge thus far.

MW Appt. today! Still pregnant but everything looks good. My blood work came back great, baby sounded great, my BP and sample were fine. Just waiting for Jack to decide to show up.
I asked the MW what the plan is if I don't go into labor before 42 weeks, since that is the usual cutoff to have a home birth. She said she has never had to transfer a woman to an OB for to going overdue. She said if I haven't had the baby by Thursday (40w4) she will send me for an U/S to make sure everything is physically ok and if I STILL haven't had him by the next weekend (41w6d) than she will induce me, she has ways. She didn't give me any specifics but she seemed confidant! Hopefully none of that will be necessary though. 2 weeks seems like such a LOOOOOONG time.
Hmm...I'm curious about her "techniques"![]()

Jesse's Journey
It just occurred to me that the longer I carry this kid the bigger he will be when he is finally born. I wonder if I can go back and un-eat that chocolate cake. I wonder if he will fit newborn size clothes. OH GOD GET OUT GET OUT GET OUT!!!
I'm 40 weeks today! To which DH replied, "So you know what we were doing 40 weeks ago today, right?" Nice.
I think we might go to the zoo today, it is 45 min away so DH thinks it will be a sure thing to put me in labor!
Hope you do go to the zoo and that it does the trick! Happy Due Date!
