Wonderful birth story, and I love the pics!
welcome to your lodge :-) thanks for sharing your stories so far!
Thanks ladies!
So onto this pregnancy -
We had our BFP on April 9th. The first u/s was on May 5th at around 8 weeks. here's a photo of the gummy bear!

At the end of July I had my 20 week u/s and found out this baby is a GIRL!!! Holy moley - I really thought it was a boy, but we are thrilled it's a girl! At the same appointment I was diagnosed with a complete placenta previa which made me very upset.

When I had an u/s again to check on the placenta - miracle of all miracles, the previa was gone and I'm in the clear for the natural birth I want and have been planning! Baby was also still a girl! Somehow I stilll doubted she was!
Here's a pic at 30 weeks pregnant.

From there I've had pretty boring appointments. Had my 36 week appointment today. Everything is looking great. Took the GSB test, the last obstacle in my natural birth plans. I'd hate to be tied up to an IV so keep your fingers crossed the test is negative! I'm looking forward to using Hypnobabies again with this baby. Also, I'm thrilled that if the baby came today I'm able to use the ABC at the hospital again which is wonderful.
I'm so glad the placenta moved & your NCB plans are right on track!
Had a great day today! Went to my friend's baby shower which I helped organize. It was a lot of fun and I felt good physically the whole time! :yahoo:
That is great news. I wish I could say the same. LOL
Welcome to your lodge! And thanks for sharing! Can't wait to hear if you passed your GBS test!! Being hooked up to an IV would be no fun, so hopefully it comes back clean! So do you have your hospital bag packed?
Well it's 37 weeks tomorrow! Hard to believe how quick this pregnancy went! I'm looking forward to my 37 week appt. on Friday as well. Today was hard physically, didn't sleep well last night and my upper back is killing me, which isn't normal for me. Hoping a good nights rest tonight will help!
So I tested positive for GBS which sucks. I'm glad my midwives are willing to work with me though and just put the IV in for the hour and then take it out. Anyone ever decline the antibiotics period? I don't think I will as the risk seems quite a bit higher if I don't get a single dose of antibiotics, just curious if someone has?
