Glad to hear you are enjoying your visit with DH. So sorry it is a visit though. I cry for you when I think about him having to leave you guys. I will pray that time stops for you for the next couple weeks and you can just freeze it all right there in those perfect moments.
You're amazing!!! And you absolutely belong on this board. There's not a single person here who would dispute that!
I also wanted to say...don't feel bad for mourning the loss of your homebirth. Even though you know, intellectually, you made the right decisions, that doesn't mean you can't feel the loss of that experience. I think it's pretty normal. I do hope that one day, if you choose to have more children, you'll get that experience if that's what you choose.
Oh, and can I say, I LOVE your mom!!! What an awesome allie to have!

I agree with the way Amber worded everything about morning the loss of your HB. It seems only right that you would have those feeligs.
I'm so glad that you have this time with DH. Enjoy it as much as you can. Such a bitter sweet thing I know. Its good that you have that walk to look foward to after he leaves. Thats nice to have her looking out for you.

(((((HUGS))))) As someone who planned for 2 NCBs and ended up with 2 c-sections without labor, I know some of what you're going through! The grief will come and go. No matter how strongly your mind knows you did everything you could, the emotions will creep in sometimes. I hope your capsules helpAnd PM me if you ever need to!
That picture of your DH in his fatigues with his new son on his chest is priceless![]()

So remember how I ordered the "Born Free" Moby Wrap? Well I used it for the first time yesterday and I love it! So does Justus. He slept the whole time. DH even put DD in it and she thought it was the coolest thing. I'll have to heal a little more before I try carrying her.
Only thing is... I am going to have to get a permanent marker and write on it (Almost) "Born Free" lol!! It just doesn't seem right without the almost in there![]()

Glad you're liking the wrap! I love all of mine and so do the older girls, they're not going to be happy when they realize that I will be carrying the n00b more than them![]()

I totally love my Moby wrap. Bowen is in it right now - it's the only way I can get things done. He doesn't sleep in his little vibraty chair anymore for more than 10 minutes. I can even clean the kitchen and bang and clang dishes and he sleeps through it. Plus, I get to kiss his beautiful face any time I want to!
We need photos of all the baby wearing Mamas and Daddies! Can John, Erik and others push camera buttons??

Awww loving the pictures. I demo'd the sleepy wrap (similar to the moby) at the expo we did on Saturday like a million times. LOL Now I am like a pro at tying it.
