Ah, so your ticker is your "real" EDD...got it. Well sending you stay-put vibes for now, then, but yay for reaching term with a happy, healthy baby!! Good for you for skipping the interventions class, too. Mmmmm, brownies...lucky group!

My final childbirth education class was fun last night. We munched and talked about BFing. Izzy and I didn't get home until about 9. When we pulled up in the driveway we didn't hear the dogs barking/whining. Bad sign. I opened the door and was immediately hit with an awful stench. My lovely mutts had EATEN a dozen CANS of cat food! There were crushed cans and cat food everywhere! My immediate concern was that they had cut their gums up on the cans. Once we confirmed that their mouths were fine I was just livid. The two of them ran out the dog door and hid for a few hours. Bad doggies!!!!

OK, had to separate this next bit of news from the bit about my terrible puppers.

Had my 37 week appointment this morning. I'm GBS negative!!!
Little lady has creeped a little lower as I've suspected. I "lost" 2 lbs since last week but in all actuality I've gained 3 over the last 3 weeks. That puts me at 32 lbs gained so far. That's 2 lbs over what I was shooting for but I'm so close to the end what does it matter? Still measuring a week ahead, BP still good, baby's HR still good.

Izzy cleaned it up . They had some diarrhea this morning but they're fine. They totally know they're in trouble. My poor cat! She was running around all last night howling because she could smell her food but couldn't find it!

Naughty puppies. I can't believe they got the cans open! Poor kitty must have been tortured with the smell but no loot too.

I'm glad your 37 week appt. went well!

Is it October 1st yet (last day of work)!? My pelvis was on fire by the time I left work yesterday. Izzy had a "meeting" at a local bar so we walked the few blocks there together. The walk there felt really good. The walk back was a little painful but I took it slow. The drive home was pretty rough. My entire pelvis hurt and little lady was attacking my ribs. All I could think about was how on earth I'm going to get comfy for the ride to the birth center while I'm in labor! The second I got home I dove into bed. Izzy brought me my rice sock and I assumed a modified polar bear position (knees spread resting my head on a pillow). That was heavenly!!

I've noticed that my hips are making a little more noise lately. She's sunk a lot lower and I can feel what I think are her shoulders rubbing around down in there. Sitting in my chair at work is awful. I have to make more of an effort to change position more frequently.

A lady on my October board who shared my due date just had a healthy little baby boy! Hello reality!!!

I feel you on the pelvis pain but I am glad that you were able to find some comfort last night.

Congrats on being full term. Whohoo! Bad bad doggies. LOL She is moving down which is very good even if it mean not as comfortable. Yep, you are really close!

Glad she moved down, but sorry about the pelvic pain.

Oh, man - dogs can be such stinkers!
