Thanks, Kasey! I can't believe I'm over on this board. Two years ago I was thinking you, Robin, Helina, Mandi and the like were CRAZY. You've converted me!

Julya: It was just weird. The lotiony leukorrhea I'm used to, but this was a perfectly clear, stretchy string of EW. Ummmm...am I fertile right now???

I'm happy you are over here, Laura!!! Now, we just need to bring you more to the dark side and get you to try cloth diapering. I bet you'll love it if you try it.

I'm glad, too! I am so glad I have the haven of this board when things seem a little too intervention-happy elsewhere. It's nice to have a group of ladies who are so educated on a topic to tell me it's OK to go postdates, to question my OB, etc.!

You and my RLBF Katherine are trying to convert me to FuzziBunz or whatever other brand you two are using! No!!!! I'll not have it! DD is *still* pooping 3x's a day at 22 months old and they are the mushy variety. There's no letting it roll off into the toilet. I'd be scrubbing if we did cloth!

Thanks, Shelley. So nice all the goop that drips out of you when you're pregnant...crusty nipples, lotion and egg whites, post nasal drip...dang, I'm sexy!

I wanted to get these up before I forgot. I take weekly pics in the last month b/c, well, you never know when it's going to be your last week to be pregnant!

36 weeks with DD1 and this baby (yes, I was still a sun-worshipper and have the damage to prove it!)

37 weeks with DD1 and this baby

Just a funny one of my belly-button pusher. I thought she understood that "baby dister" is in mommy's *belly* but lately she points to my belly *button* and even kisses it when we ask her about her sister. Boy is she going to be disappointed when she visits us at the hospital for the first time and my belly button has returned to an innie!

37wk OB appt tomorrow. Will have a cervical forcast for all interested parties at that point. The most disturbing thing is DH calling his parents from the parking garage to report on how "open" I am. It didn't bother me with DD1, but this time it does. Of course, I'm still pissy b/c they informed us that they had to reschedule their vacation plans b/c of my EDD. That makes me want to hold onto Sarah Cate until May 4, the day they leave for their trip.

I guess that's a backstory I can share. 6 weeks pregnant with this baby. Had calculated my own EDD as 4/28 based on ovulation and we shared as much with our parents. Upon hearing the news that we were expecting #2 and when, FIL says to my husband, "Well, son, we're going to Arizona on April 24." A few days later MIL calls me to say, "Is your doctor willing to induce you early?" Um...I haven't even been to see her yet to verify that I'm pregnant and no, I'm not being induced b/c if my body isn't ready it will fail and I'll end up w/ a c-section. She replies, "Really? Well when do you think you'll have the baby b/c we have to take this trip by the end of May or we lose money."

So basically, I hope I start labor on May 4 just to spite them. I know there are things to do to help cervical ripening, anything short of a cerclage I can do at this point to stall things? Stand on my head for the next 3 weeks???

Don't forget the drooling and the sweating.

at your IL's!! That's unbelievable rude!! I'll cross my fingers with you for a May 4th delivery. How dare they make your new babe into their inconvenience. I'd be fuming! Well, I am fuming for you!

BTW, how *cute* is your little button pusher there!

So cute. Best advice I can give is to lay with your feet up and your head down. Backwards gravity? I'm giving you 'May 4th' vibes!

Laura, I love the pics - and your little belly button pusher!

I can't believe your ILs. That is shocking. I really hope you can hold out until after they go on their trip now! (And to think I was disgruntled that I have to go to my MIL's for supper tomorrow night - 45 mins by car; I don't want to leave home at all these last days, feeling it to be too close to my EDD - I'm having a HOME birth, so I want to be at HOME for it! But that is another rant and I promised myself I would stop complaining...)

Why, Jord, in the South we don't sweat, we *glisten* (said while reaching for the nearest box fan!)

Emma Claire has her moments. She's 90% cute, 10% toddler, I'd say. We'll see how much that shifts once baby sister is here and in mommy's arms 8ish hours a day!

Thanks for all the May 4 vibes. Actually, I think May 5 - Cinco de Mayo - would be a HOOT! Of course, then the old OB will get to itching for an induction...
