Sorry I haven't been on much the last few days. I had a major freak out that we didn't have anything ready, so I have spent the last 4 days getting everything that I could ready. We finished decorating the nursery. I'll try to get some pics up soon. I also have everything washed and put away. The carseat is sitting by the door to be installed, Malia's bag is packed and I have a list made up for my bag. I feel much better now.

I had my 37 week appt today. It was a nice boring appt. I am GBS- so I am very excited about that. I am slightly anemic, so my mw suggested taking an iron supplement every other day.

DD1 has been very affectionate lately. I know she doesn't completely understand, but since all of the baby stuff is out I think she is getting some idea.

    Keeping busy but feeling good.

Yay for getting everything squared away for LO's arrival. I'm glad it was a good and uneventful 37 week appointment.

It always amazes me when couples stay together through extended periods of separation. I have so much respect for military couples.

Yay for a boring appointment and nesting accomplishments!

Wow - sounds like you had a productive few days of nesting! Way to go!

What a great intro. Nice to "meet" you!

I'm still around. I guess I had another freak out. I have been following this board for a long time and am so impressed with you woman that I think I got scared about what if I can't have a natural childbirth again. I know none of you women would judge me if I needed an epidural, but I just started questioning myself. I'm doing better and know that whatever happens as long as Malia and I are healthy that is the only thing that matters.

As for an update, at both my 38 and 39 week appts I was 1cm and 50% effaced. As I had to be induced with Hadley (DD1) b/c I had not dialated at all, I was excited at my 38 week appt to have any progress. Then I was a little disappointed at my 39 week that I hadn't progressed further. I really want to avoid an induction and I think that has contributed to a lot of my stress.

I'm at a good place now and just excited to meet my little girl.

I'm glad you're in a good place now. Don't let the status of your cervix get you down. You could go from zero to baby so quickly! You're so close! KUP posted no matter what! We believe in you and will support you every step of the way.

Don't let the progress of your cervix stress you out. Your going to meet your LO before you know it! I'm glad that you are feeling you are in a good place now. KUP in these next few days on how things are going and how you are doing.

I am sorry that you didn't have cervical progress like you were hoping. But I do know that you can be a 1 and then dilate to a 4 in a matter of hours without knowing (did that with my last). KUP!!
