Wow, sounds so fun!
It looks like I'm definitely having a March baby. I had kind of wanted it that way because that way him and DD will each have their own birth months.
DH got some free tickets to the Symphony from his work, and it was last night, so our friends watched DD and we got to have a nice date night. They perform in this old theater down town that has a gorgeous interior with intricate molding and a painted ceiling--really, really beautiful In the car on the way we joked about what if my water broke during the performance. That would have been interesting, for sure. The baby seemed to enjoy the classical music--when it would get loud, he would start moving a lot. There was one song in particular that he was moving around a lot during. I'm think I'm going to see if I can find the song somewhere.
What a cool idea to find the song... maybe you can play it at bedtime and such as he grows. Yay for date nights!!

How fun!! I'm so behind around here right now and I hate it. I'm glad your doing well and I will be doing a better job around here I promise My sister is in town on a suprise visit with her little girl so I'm trying to spend as much time with her as I can. I can't wait to see your little man!!
Yesterday, DD and I went to Target. I got a few things for my hospital bag. I had already picked up travel toiletries on Saturday, but I got a new pair of fuzzy socks (they had eastery pastel-colored ones), and a nightgown that I'm planning on wearing for the birth (this one: http://www.target.com/Gilligan-OMall..._qi_detaillink) The material is really comfortable--soft, strechy, and breathable. I got a new pair of headhones for my ipod (for listening to my Hypnobabies on the way to and at the hosptial) because DD pulled the rubber piece off one of the earbuds on the ones I had and it got lost. The new ones are better anyway--it's more comfortable to lie down with them in. I also bought some new make-up because I was out of foundation and my mascara was really old.
Target had Sesame Street board books for $1 in their dollar section, so I got DD one. I also got her a big thing of bubbles. My friend J (the one who we went to Costco and the park with and who watched DD while we went to the Symphony) blows bubbles for her DD whenever she sits on the potty, so I decided to try that with DD. She has sat on the potty several times since then, and this morning, she actually peed on the potty for the first time. Yay!
My neighbor came over with her 3 year old DS this morning, and we talked for a whie and her DS and DD played. I think we are going to get out the stroller and take a walk to the rental office (it's pretty close) to pay our rent now.
I've started having people ask me about the baby on facebook, so I put this as my status: www.haveyouhadthatbabyyet.com.
That's an AWESOME status! I think I may just have to steal it!
We actually bought about 8 of those sesame street board books from target. D LOVES them. And I love the status, I'll keep that in mind for (hopefully) next november.
I had one friend who let her daughter call a real "disney princess" every time she successfully pottied... the "princesses" happened to be the other mommies in her playgroup that knew which days they were assigned and which princess to be. Worked like a charm.
Oooh, totally going to have to check out the Target dollar section. Thanks for the heads up!
And I love the bubble idea. Stickers did the trick over here for potty time. Now I'm trying to figure out how to keep going and not have her expect stickers every single time LOL.
Off to check out that linky. I may have to bookmark it for my status in the next few weeks
Someone told me that they knew someone who's DH could talk like Elmo, so their son got to "call Elmo" when he used the potty--I thought that was awesome.
Had some pressure waves last night, but was able to get to sleep with the help of Hypnobabies. I'm starting to feel like I might be getting close, but I don't know, it still could be a while.
I have my 39 week doctors appointment tomorrow, so I might have more to update then.
