Welcome to your lodge! Great intro!
Welcome to your lodge!! Great intro and beautiful pictures! Can't wait to follow your journey.
Yes, he's a rescued retired racer. Do you have one, too?
My goal for today is to get all my thank you cards from my shower completed and mailed out. I'm doing well, only a few more to go.
Dave is en route home, he should be home by noon tomorrow. I am so looking forward to having him here and not having to worry that I will go into labor without him. I'm pretty independent, but I think laboring and delivering without him would make even me upset.
Welcome to your lodge! You look gorgeous!
welcome to your lodge, great intro, you look amazing! congrats on 36wks, i hope the next weeks go smoothly and enjoyably (is that a word, ugh probably not) anyway looking forward to hearing more about you and your journey
yay Amanda, welcome to your lodge!
Dave is home now. What's more, when he got home at 11:30 am, he totally went to town on the exterior of the house. He did so much work, and the lawn and gardens and deck look fabulous now! We're having some neighbors over for a bbq on Sunday, to say thank you for them all feeding and taking care of me while Dave has been away, and now I won't be embarrassed by the state of my yard.
The last load of baby clothes is in the dryer. Next I need to turn my attention to getting the hospital bag together, which I had been avoiding until Dave came home. I refused to even entertain the idea that I would need it when he was away. Any advice from BTDT moms as to what I need to pack?
My only hospital bag advice is to take stretchy pants for you to wear home....and I hate to admit it but I have always needed them to be bigger then I thought I would:) I read to plan on looking 5 months pregnant when you leave the hospital and I think that was about accurate for me both times. Other then that I guess a newborn sized outfit was something I used both times even though my babies were 7+lbs, they just floated in 0-3 size. I'm excited to follow you story and woohoo for your DH being such a huge help!!
Yay for DH being home and taking care of the yard! ITA about comfy clothes. Also, your camera, some snacks (good for DH, labor or to supplement crappy hospital food) and a comfy outfit for your DD to wear home (the cute stuff is good for pics, but sometimes it doesn't work well with the cord or car seats).
