Yeah, it actually almost makes me want to cry...ok it does make me want to cry. I LOVE the tiny baby stage, and by the time your ready to enjoy it it's over. I'm so glad your learning how to get the things you need to done while spending time with her as well. Hope your starting to feel a little more sane!
awww big hugs!

Amanda, great birth story!! You did an amazing job and you had a great NCB hospital birth! Well done - you should be so proud of yourself!!!!
You have some similarities to my birth story.... it is sad but at a hospital the "threat" of c-section is definitely there and, as my labor was also really loooong and I too was having a hard time getting he baby by the pubic bone, I got really nervous too. I found that having my husband pull on my arms (straight up) when I was having really bad contrations (around 8 cms) helped so my arms ached for days afterwards too... I could commisserate with quite a bit of your story.
Hope the baby wearning is going well! How are you doing???
Hope your episiotomy is healing ....

Hi Amanda!I just popped over to read your story and wanted to say congrats and wish you all the best! Irene is absolutely adorable! And you did an amazing job.
Your birth story had quite a few similarities to mine as well. And our little girls were born only a half hour apart! How cool is that? States away, we were both laboring at the same time.
Enjoy your sweet little girl. And congrats again mama! I get all happy and gushy when I think about how far we've all come.![]()
