Eeeeew, Castor Oil. Nasty, nasty stuff. Was it horrible to drink down?

eek on the castor oil! It worked for a friend of mine (twice, actually) but it's not something I'm brave enough to try.

He'll get here when he gets here. I know you're antsy to have him in your arms (believe me, I relate). But don't stress yourself out trying. Enjoy the good sleep if you're still getting it, because that ends once he's out.

Anyhow, don't know about the twinges you're feeling, I get more pressure than anything down there, not strange twinges. But my fingers are crossed that it means something and that you go into labor soon!

Ooof! That castor oil sounds bad. Sucks that you went though all that crap (literally HA!) to no result.

Ugh. I did Castor Oil with my DD, and it didn't work for me, but I was induced the following day...so who knows. She did have a BM in utero, and I sometimes think it was because of the oil. Sorry to hear that Ayden hasn't made his arrival! Maybe he'll be a firecracker baby?

Honey, I'm so sorry. I stared at the bottle of caster oil the other day for like 20 minutes. I wasn't brave enough to spend the couple dollars. Now maybe at 40 weeks I will be, not not now.

Em---it was HORRIBLE going down....and then when I got heartburn...I had to taste it again. The taste wasnt the bad part (of course it was gross) but it is soooo thick!!! Labor vibes comin at ya!!!

I do not recommend it!!!!

Gwen--I am so anxious but luckily its Monday (which Im never thankful for) so work will keep me busy. Labor vibes coming your way too!!!

Kara--I totally didnt think about baby making a BM due to the oil. Oh crap. If he is a firecracker baby I will be thrilled!!!! I have a feeling about the 2nd...so who knows.

Kelly-- You are too funny with your pom poms.lol Im telling ya tho you dont wanna drink that stuff!!! It was disgusting....but worth a shot...so my advice if you do decide to drink it.....take the tablespoon straight...then chase it down with water or juice...dont try to mix it with anything...it doesnt mix well.

Update!!! I have an appt with my MW tomorrow at 1 to do another sweep. I hope this one works!!! Something has to. His head is sooo low. Im afraid it hurts him when I do certain activities. Well thats all on me...same ol same ol. Im feeling better tho now that I have engrossed myself into my work. hehe

Isn't the 2nd a new moon? I hope baby comes then for you! One of my BFF birthday is the 2nd and she loves her birthday! I'm so sorrry about the castor oil. They say it works for some. A friend of mine used it and had her baby in the car on the way to the birth center. It really got things moving. Sending you lots of LABOR vibes!!!!!!!

Alicia--I only wish I could have been so lucky. I do hope (thinking on the positive side) that it did help me to progress some. That would at least have made it worth it. I think the 3rd is the new moon....but hey the day before could be just as good. Right? hahaha I hope you are doing great!!! You are getting very close there too missy. I tried castor oil with my first... and never again. Like you said, the taste is bad, but the really awful thing is how THICK it is. Blah!!

I have thought about the castor oil if my baby doesn't come next week. Cheryl, you have convinced me otherwise! Sounds awful.
