Connie, Ethan's curls are so adorable! I have curly hair but Tehani's is just wavy. I haven't gotten her hair cut yet, but we need to because it is not even--the sides are a little longer than the back.

Cynthia, it sounds like you are getting a lot done to get ready for this baby.

Great intro! I love reading long ones. You did a great job of describing your last birth experience.

good luck with your home birth! My DP decided home birth was okay after attending an info night at our midwife practice too.

I used this pattern, adjusted a bit to fit a newborn. It's a great pattern.

Thanks for the CD advice. I picked up a dozen more prefolds today, so I have 2 dozen prefolds and plenty of covers. We'll see how that goes. DS was a big baby and grew quickly so maybe this one will be the same.

    Love those cute curls!

Hope all is going well. I'm glad to hear you are doing cloth diapering. It's a lot of fun.

How are you today? Hope all is well! I used fitted diapers with Isaac and had around 3 dozen to start with. LOVE cloth diapers!

Had an early morning today; woke up to use the bathroom and couldn't get back to sleep. I'm having a nap during DS's quiet time right away. FIL is coming over for dinner this evening (he usually comes once a week) so I've got some cleaning to do before he gets here. I'm just too exhausted to move.

DS and I went to a farm this morning. He loves the farm and it was finally sunny here instead of raining, so I figured we might as well go one more time before the baby arrives. He had a great time petting the goats, getting licked by the calf, and, of course, chasing the ducks. Poor ducks.

Oh, come on, you know the ducks loved it. (just kidding)

Please don't worry about the cleaning. I know the pressure of wanting everything to be clean and organized, but at this stage of pregnancy, your FIL should get some temporary blinders.

Thanks, Jennie, you're right. It's definitely not him, it's me. I tend to use his weekly visits as motivation to scrub down the bathrooms and floors, lol.

He's bringing dessert tonight and he promised it would include chocolate. He said he'd get something organic so then it would be healthy.

Just woke up from a nap. Time to clean out the cat litter (oops) and maybe tidy (just a bit!) before FIL arrives.
