Thank you allI am VERY happy with my birth with Evan. I really don't have a single thing that I feel went "wrong" with it, which is incredible, and dare I say, just what I needed after Caleb's birth. It was a very healing experience.
Things continue to go well here. Evan came down with a stuffy nose about a week after he was born, and continues to have a stuffed up nose now and then. Not totally unexpected though since all the other kids had runny noses when he was born. He sleeps phenomenally well, most nights I'm getting a good 5-6 hours of uninterrupted sleep so that's been incredible.
I'm feeling great! I've healed from my tears, and my energy is back, and I'm sleeping ever so much better than when I was pg. I have to say too, we have the most awesome friends anyone could have. So many people have been so supportive of me the past 3 weeks. I've only made dinner 3-4 times in 3 weeks because of them all. And they've been so kind as to take/get kids from school, and take kids to the park, and other such things, so that I can get enough rest. I'm soooo blessed!
I'm shamelessly bumping my lodge so it doesn't get pruned... my printer needs ink so I can print it.
Evan is now 4 weeks old. He's 23" long now, and 11 lbs 12 oz. He's healthy as can be, and such a laid back little guy. So long as he's got food, a clean diaper, and isn't too hot/cold, he's content to hang out on my shoulder or sleep all the time. I'm so thankful for it too.. it's been so healing to be able to fully take care of him and know that this time I'm here for my baby.
