Welcome to your lodge! I loved reading your intro, thanks for sharing that, and all the pics too.
I'm so sorry about your Dad. That must have been, and must still continue to be, so hard for you and your whole family.
Can't wait to read about your new baby journey!
Here are some belly pics-I have grown so much!
At 5 weeks:
And yesterday at 36 weeks:
Yeah, everybody who tells me I'm "all belly" is totally lying! Hopefully I'll be able to lose the weight again without too much trouble. I actually started this pregnancy 10 pounds lighter than I started with Ian, so I am hopeful and much less freaked out about the substantial weight gain than I was last time.
Welcome to your lodge and thanks for the intro, it was nice to read your story. I am excited for you and your new bean on the way. Thanks for sharing all the pics and I am so sorry to hear about your dad.
Kim you look wonderful!

~Remembering sweet baby Oliver, born to Heaven October 20, 2009, & keeping Carole in our prayers~
Had another appointment with my midwife today.
Everything is looking good. Baby's heartrate is normal, baby is still head-down (has been for months now), and I'm still measuring right on track. Got the GBS swab done too. Hopefully it's negative and I won't even have to worry about it.
We went over my birth plan, since I went over it with her backup partner at my last appointment. She is supportive of everything I want to do and said she'll try to meet me at the hospital when I arrive to make sure they don't push all the 'policy' stuff on me. I'm so glad that I found her!
Also, I found out that the window where her & her partner's vacations overlap is less than a day, not a day and half like I thought. So as long as I can avoid having the baby the second half of July 3rd or the first half of July 4th, I should get to have a midwife with me. I really like my midwife better than her partner though, and she's on vacation from June 28th to July 4th. Our official due date is June 30th. And my MIL is coming July 5th. So I don't know when I want to have the baby! It might be kind of nice to have the baby with my midwife and then have a week to recover before MIL comes to town. But I'm kind of expecting to go late, so we'll see.
Oh, and now I'm on weekly appointments. Until now, we'd been stretching my appointments by one extra week more than normal, since everything's going fine and her office is 45 minutes away. That makes for expensive gas and a long morning for a toddler. I guess I'm in the homestretch now, so she wants me to keep coming back. That's fine though. I have appointments booked every week through July 3rd-crazy!
Girl, I hear you! My OB was 45min away and I had to take DD1 w/ me to each and every one. Do your MW's get you right in or do you have to wait around? How is Ian handling the appointments?
And you look fantastic! Who cares about weight gain? Healthy baby is the most important thing. The weight comes off. Trust me, I gained 60lbs with each of mine!
You look beautiful!
I hope that you get to have the m/w that you want for your birth! She sounds good that she is willing to come in and meet you upon admittance so that they repect your wishes- I like that!
