Thanks ladies.. well - I'm off to start what our doc refers to as a breastfeeding marathon for the next 16 hours... wish me luck.

Ha ha! The breastfeeding marathon! That is sort of how it feels those first few weeks, especially if they are sleepy or just slowish nursers. Are you getting some rest during the day or night? I am still praying for you! But wow, is she gorgeous! ;) (Seriously, most newborns look sort of funny to me- but maybe I am the only weird one who thinks so! :rolleyes:)

BF was easy when my milk was not in then "hard" but Florian needed his tongue tie clippd now it is EASY .... but I know the first week with the surgery and how sore we are it is hard because we can't be confortable holding our babies.....
take care of yourself..... my pain went away by itself in 24hr period !!!! I was on pain medication for 6 days only !!!!! so I wish you the same...
