Wow! I'm so impressed you are carrying those two little ones this long. They are going to be such beautiful healthy baby girls. Best wishes for a wonderful inspiring birth!

Part 2!!! I'm not surprised! You're an inspiration, Erika. Those babies have no idea what kind of welcome they're in for!!

Sounds like you are doing great! I'm glad you've developed a good 'RL' relationship with Gail - it's always a bit different in person, and I think it's so important that you feel comfortable with everyone involved in your birth. I remember so much of your struggles in finding the right person, and how COOL is it that you've come to this moment where everything is in place?! It really gives me faith in how the universe works....

I think it's great that you have fun dinner plans for this weekend - I totally agree with your philosophy of continuing life throughout pregnancy (and parenthood, for that matter). It can be really helpful to have something to look forward to. In fact, I think you've inspired me to make plans for this weekend... hmmm... Thanks!

Hello, Erika, how are you? What's up? How are you feeling?

My midwife, Jenny (who was a student when Ridley was born), is visiting me, so both you and I have our midwives living with us at the moment. She is here with me now checking on your lodge!

    Hugs to you.

Just checking in: nothing really happening. I feel like a sitting duck (or should I say orangutan! My girlfriend is going for a VBAC and she just email that her water broke. She risked out of a MW attended birth due to GD and the ONLY turely VBAC friendly doc is an hour North. and as fate wold have it this doc's partners are jerks about VBAC (they don't want to be bothered in the middle of the night, the weekend or any holidays to have to sit at the hospital for an entire labor). Anywyas, her VBAC friendly OB left on vacation yesterday - so I worry for her. But she has a lot of fight in her. She is our ICAN president so I know she is well informed and has plenty of guts to stand up to the others. Keep her in her thoughts. I hope labor kicks in soon for her!

We chuckled that we could have our babies the same day (we have the same due date) 2 other ladies one a twin mom and another fellow homebirther both members of ICAN had their babies within 2 hours of each other 8 weeks ago - What are the odds itcould happen twice?

Eeesh - sending her lots of good vibes. I know she'll have rehearsed saying "no thank you" and "I do not give consent for that" over and over again already!

    Thinking of you hon.

I'm hoping for you both! Purely selfish but I'd love to see those two little darlings so you know I'm on the edge of my seat waiting for you! lol
I just hope upon hope that everything goes well for her. I was adamant with my OB that if I were to get a section that SHE had to be the one to do it or I'd walk.. so she agreed to be available for me, I think when a doc sees just how really serious you are they cave.
Keeping my fingers crossed! Good luck.
