I'm glad you got to enjoy a movie and I remember the feeling of the baby dropping, ahhh it's a good feeling Cool job you had, you'll have to share some stories when you have time. Hope things a re progressing for you!
How are you feeling today??
Hmm I feel a little different today. I can breathe better every day lol. My very, very, very consistent heartburn has all but dissapeared. (Used to be 3-4x a day, I have only had it once in the last several days) I have had some bad mood swings today, which is COMPLETELY NOT normal for me. Very strange. I also am really wanting to clean today, but only have a teeny tiny bit more energy so I don't really think I'm nesting. If there is a day when I am NOT swelling I'll let you know LOL! I need to go get some more crap done so I can go get a few groceries later....
Congrats on your lodge! Your truck driving job sounds really cool! I like the pics too!
Had another mw appt today. My cervix has only made a tiny bit of progress. I did bleed a tiny bit when she was "in there" but she said it was normal and I may spot for a day or 2. When she touched his head this time, he pushed back against her fingers, it made her and the nurse laugh hehe. Group B strep was negative (good!) but did get a bit of bad news. Because of my swelling and a few weeks of elevated BP, they are concearned that I may be developing preeclampsia. So she sent me home with a urine collection kit. I have to start a 24 hr collection in the morning, and take it to the lab Sat. morning. She should get the results for my protein & creatine on Monday. If I am, she said they will be inducing me very soon after. Oh boy, I hope not. I would rather not be induced, but if it comes to that she said I still should be able to have the water birth, assuming no other problems.
Aw - the 24 hour collection thing is no fun - I had to do that a couple months ago. I hope all ends up well for you though. It's good they are on top of things and are willing to let you have your water birth even with an early induction. But still - I hope it's not pre-e!
Gosh, I hope it's not pre-e. In the meantime, force lots of water and eat your protein!! (my midwife swears by this regimen and really keeps beating it into me LOL)
The only thing that will stink is that induction usually involves lots of things that you probably don't want. I got "forced" into it last time and needed the regular IV, too much monitoring with the stupid fetal monitor, then finally Pitocin - UGH. I hope you can avoid all of that and get the waterbirth you want!

I was induced and wouldn't wish it on anyone. However I am glad that they are watching you and trying to make your birth experience what you hope for. I also had pre-e, but it was not caught until they induced me. I had an OB with my first and have gone a totally different route for care this time. Keep us posted and have a great weekend!
